I always seem to plan to get way too much done over the weekend, making the weekend fly by faster than it should.  Or faster than I’d like it to.  Maybe I should plan a weekend of no plans just to see if the weekend feels longer.

At least Monday’s are fun days with Monday’s Music Moves Me – this week’s theme is a freebie, so I get to inundate you with songs I’ve been dancing to this week.

First up is a new song from one of my favorite artists, Blake Shelton with “God Gave Me You”:

This next song I only recently discovered – I actually found it when I was looking up songs for last week’s animal theme (and since deer are my favorite animal, of course this one caught my eye…and ears).  Owl City with “Deer In The Headlights”:

  9. Fun picks! “A deer in headlights” was one of the couple costumes at our Halloween party on Saturday. It was brilliant! My friend wore a black shirt and black pants. She taped a set of tap lights to her chest and yellow duct tape down the front like lines on a road. Her husband wear antlers. He was the deer. So funny!

  19. I hate to break it to you, but making no plans over the weekend just makes it even shorter than if you make plans. You’ll end up spending all day doing nothing (and enjoying it hopefully) but by Monday you’ll be like “wait, where did my fricking weekend go? I didn’t even DO anything?”

  22. Loved your picks and the Deer in the Headlights I really liked the video too, so reminded me of Back to the Future and I wanted it to end with the pretty girl but I had a feeling it wasn’t gonna LOL
