Monday’s seem to have a way of sneaking up on you faster than any other day of the week, don’t they?  Princess Nagger is off school today and tomorrow for Teacher Inservice – too bad we don’t have ‘life inservice’ days to have a day off now and again. 

With Monday comes some mega fun – this weeks’ Monday’s Music Moves Me theme is any song about animals or with an animal’s breed in it – this was a fun one to peruse, since I had no idea there were so many songs about animals, or referring to animals in the title, but my first Google search showed 255.  That’s a lot of songs about animals! 

Picking was fun though, because some of my favorites were on the list.  First up is one of those favorites, Toby Keith featuring Willie Nelson with “Beer for My Horses”:

Another all-time favorite is this fun song by Big and Rich, “Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)”:

Of course we can’t leave out the fun song by Baha Men, “Who Let The Dogs Out”:

When Princess Nagger heard that the theme was an animal one, she insisted this one be included as well – “The Dinosaurs Song”:

I’m sure a few of those will be stuck in your head today, as they will mine.  Enjoy your Monday!

  5. I love that Dinosaur song, and I forgot all about “Who let the dogs out” woof woof woof! LMAO… I wish I can sit around some more this morning, but I have a dr appt. but I’ll be back to pick up where I left off. Luvin’ Ride a cowboy ~hehehe~ I’m listening to that one while I get dressed.
