Wait, it’s Monday already?!  Where’s the time gone?  I’ve almost gotten back to ‘normal’ after our vacation, though I have yet to unpack Princess Nagger’s and my suitcases.  Ahem.  I’ll get to it.  Eventually.  Since my brain is in scattered mode, I’ll save those scatterbrained thoughts for tomorrow.  Today, we’ll jump right into fun music mode instead.  It’s a freebie week, so let’s get right to it, shall we?

First up is a song that’s ultra catchy, though I’m not condoning the message this song sends, but the catchy-ness of it makes up for it, especially since I love Miranda Lambert, and it’s a newish song from her newish girl band, Pistol Annie’s Hell On Heels:

This whole song – including the video brought back a lot of old memories: the summer I met my sweetie (hubby); he was a shooting star among the bikinied twinkies in those hot, hot, H-O-T white cutoffs, coffee bean tanned skin, mesmerizing hazel gold-flecked hazel eyes, doing those death-defying water skiing stunts behind water skimming jet boats. Oh! I loved watching everything he did … could that really have been 37 years ago???? It seems like only yesterday; LOL

    Of course our “blue jeans nights” took place here in the cool and often overcast PNW. But when the sun does come out and play it’s a fun place to be.
