I have been waiting for weeks for Mother Nature to give us a break so our yard will start to sprout forth and give us some actual signs of spring. After many days of 40-degree weather, Mother Nature started having her hot-flashes again, donning us with the heat and humidity usually reserved for August the past few days. Have I mentioned how much I dislike Mother Nature this year? At least now things are really starting to blossom, like my apple tree:
My grape vines are budding nicely:
Even a few of my irises are starting to show life:
Of course that also means that the weeds are growing rampant along the stream to the pond – looks like I’ll have my work cut out for me this weekend when we’re finally due for a break from the onslaught of rain:
It’s been a long wait – but it appears that spring has finally sprung!

I can’t wait until you show some pictures with everything fully in bloom. I bet that garden of yours is going to look fantastic. Unfortunately, I can’t have one like that because I’m highly allergic to bees, so is my son. So, I just stay away from flowers & planting them is only inviting trouble. Oh well!
Great to see the flowers blooming and life in the growing plants in your garden. Happy WW.
The pond is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing some shots of it in bloom….
This fall I AM planting some bulbs. We have no spring flowering anything. 🙁
I am a new follower from the blog hop, thanks for stopping by http://www.runninglovinglving.com. Your pics are gorgeous.
Gorgeous garden! You’re inspiring me to get out there and start cleaning up my garden beds!-)

I had to laugh when I read “Mother Nature started having her hot flashes again…” What an apt description!
These are such beautiful pictures! What a happy place!

Man, you are lucky. It snowed last night where I live. I know I live in Canada, but jeepers, I live in a temperate part!
Any day now, any day….

I’m so ready for spring!
I love the line about Mother Nature’s “hot flashes”! LOL!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
My (rainy, cloudy, cold) spring is jealous of your spring 😉
Looks beautiful from here!
What beautiful pictures! We are just now starting to get a little sun…hopefully it’s here to stay.
I love the first blooms of spring. This is our first spring in our house so we were surprised by all that popped up!
Lovely nature photos! They’re refreshing 🙂
I’m glad you’re finally getting your spring.
Mother Nature has lost it here in Israel too – we’ve actually had rain and thunderstorms this week, absolutely unheard of by the end of April. Utterly ridiculous this late in the season, what the heck happened to spring?

Lovely pictures and signs of Spring. Yes, I too see many happy weeds growing in and around my yard. Work ahead!
I think that was a nice Iris I see coming soon. Very nice to have a grape wine yes? Are they easy to start?
Beautiful signs of spring!
You have a neautiful garden! I love that last photo. Spring seemed to come early in London this year, certainly a month earlier than last year, and it has been lovely, sunny and warm. Fingers crossed for a decent summer!
Hi! Great photos. Spring came, the weather is warm and sunny. Have a good rest in the nature after winter.
Beautiful pictures! I love spring, all the anticipation of good weather and summer around the corner 🙂
