Princess Nagger was curled up like a little peanut asleep – or so I thought. The first picture didn’t turn out light enough, so when I snapped this, the second one, you can tell she’s a little faker by the little grin that’s starting. And yes, she does like to eat peanut butter right out of the jar – so I have one stashed for the hubby and me that she can’t get her hands (or spoon) on.
She likes to pretend to be asleep so one of us will carry her up the stairs to bed, so of course she then rolled over and buried her face to fool us into thinking she was sound asleep:
She’s getting a bit too big for us to carry up the stairs – or we’re just getting old. I’ll opt for the former rather than the latter. When I joked she looked like a little peanut, she replied: “You are what you eat!”

doesn’t take up too much space and is quiet – seems like a good deal. Why do kids weight more when they are asleep?
Ahhh!!! What a cutie pie!!
Well…did you carry her??
Hugs

My six year old still wants us to carry her sometimes. I think it is because they know they are getting bigger and they are trying to hold on to that baby state where they are fully dependent on us, even though they don’t realize that’s what’s going on.
That’s adorable. Love the huge jar of PB. We call my youngest little peanut, but I think he’s outgrowing the name, lol.
So sweet!
Love the smirk!
Haha, my girls do the same thing 🙂 She is so cute. I love those sneaky little grins they have! And how smart is she…’You are what you eat’…I love it!!
I remember doing that when I was her age.
Have a great day!
Right out of the jar huh? That’s plain awesome…. 🙂
Such a cutie! Yes, definitely go with ‘she is getting too big’– never are we getting too old, Haha!!
Happy WW!
Haha! I remember doing that. Especially when I wanted someone to carry me in from the car.
I think PB out of a jar was my favorite snack as a child too.
I love the fake sleeping. So cute!
I wouldn’t mind someone carrying me to bed too!!
Mmmmm….peanut butter!!
She’s adorable! our boys are too heavy to carry anywhere.
What a cutie. My daughter has a real thing for pb straight out of the jar too.

Muahaha! My kids do the same – especially at night in their carseats. Too bad for them I really CAN’T lug them inside.
And tell Princess nagger that dinosaurs are the bomb around here. They even get to play in the bathtub. 😉
Oh, the sly smile trick! I know that one. We try to do the limp arm test to see how asleep our girl is too. Sweet photos!

I gotta say, I did the SAME thing when I was a kid! I used to fake being asleep so I would be carried. These pics and story are adorable! Poor dear, just wants to still be your BABY. 😉
Hey, don’t know how much of a health nut you might be, but Peter Pan peanut butter recently went free of high fructose corn syrup!
Haha! Funny kid re. you are what you eat. 🙂
I distinctly remember pretending to be asleep one time so a grown up could carry me into the car. Seeing this post brought back that memory. 🙂
I’d love to be carried off to bed and I’m an adult.

Cute! One of my kids likes to pretend he’s asleep so we’ll carry him too. I love the big grin and attempt to hold back a laugh, and despite all that he truely thinks we’re fooled!
Thanks for visiting my blog
I kind of wish I could get away with fake sleeping more often. But at least I can still eat peanut butter straight from the jar!
Too cute! My 11 year old would have us carry her up the stairs if she thought she could get away with it. Love the peanut butter!
I totally understand her love for peanut butter striaght out of the jar. There’s just something magical about it!
We don’t do much carrying these days either!
