Stand back!  You don’t want to get too close!  My cold/flu bug has morphed into Severe Sinusitis.  Lucky me.  At some point I’ll drag myself to the doctor’s office so I can do the hurry-up-and-wait dance to get a prescription for antibiotics to kick this thing to the curb.  But for now I’m making do.  Mostly because I hate going to the doctor’s office.  Too bad they don’t have one of those walk-in clinic thingys around here – I’d opt for that for a potentially less stress mode just to score some drugs.   You know what I mean.

I set up a mental quarantine perimeter, but Hovering Hubby and Princess Nagger infringed on it, so now they both have the plague, too.  Chances are Princess Nagger will be home from school today if she’s still in feverish mode like she was yesterday.  Since we were both feverish and clammy, we took it easy and finally watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid together (now we’re psyched for when the second one comes out in the theater later this month).  Hopefully we’ll both be feeling better by Friday, since she has early dismissal and we have a ‘date’ to go see Rango.

Meanwhile, since it’s Monday and a new month of musical inspiration, I decided to keep things in an upbeat mode and chose a new-ish song from Pink – F**kin’ Perfect.  Of course I picked the clean version, since it’s just as good as the original, and there are too many delicate ears around.  Mine included.  Enjoy!

    I don’t usually like Pink, and have never listened to this whole song because I just don’t like the “F” word. Personal preference, nothing against anyone who choses to listen (I had an abusive husband in my prior life who used it a LOT).
    I LOVE this version and the entire video and what it is trying to say, thank you for posting it, it brought tears to my eyes. HUGS!!
