Princes Nagger took advantage of the warmish weather Mother Nature blessed us with over the weekend to spend some quality time outside. At some point she wanted me to come check out something she had done, promising that it would be really cool. It was. She ‘decorated’ her sad playset with the pile’o’beads she’s loved to play with since she was 2:
Even though this playset has definitely seen better days (it was a hand-me-down and even then probably should have been relegated to a burn pile but it wasn’t in our budget to buy a new one) she loves to hang out on it reading, swinging, sliding or just making up fun imaginary games. The platform at the top of the slide, in spite of it’s dilapidated mode and the tarp ‘roof’ long gone, she still refers to it as her ‘clubhouse’. She decided her ‘clubhouse’ needed more pizazz, hence the beadwork:
I love that she has no problem with ‘making do’, and hopefully the budget will allow the purchase of a new and improved one before she gets too big/old to enjoy it. Princess Nagger did say that if Creative Play (the brand of this playset) or any other playset company out there wants to send her one to review, she’d be happy to try it out thoroughly and give her honest opinion.
In the meantime, I think she’s done a great job prettying up the dilapidated one, don’t you?

Very colorful and as long as it is safe and will not collapse on her I say keep it. Let her remodel it. Maybe some outdoor paint. Has she carved her initials into yet?
Too cute! My girl dolled hers up with beads and feather boas.
Little kids her age are so creative. We seem to lose that as we get older. Mmmmm? I think we should all try to “make do creatively” at least once a week. You in?
She did a great job!

Looks like a great play set to me! I love how she decorated it with the Mardi Gras beads. Nice touch. 🙂
Love the creativity. I agree, as long as it’s safe, let her paint it.
What a smart creative girl! Those beads sure do brighten up the space 🙂 Wouldn’t that be awesome if someone did send you a new playset?!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
That thing is offering way more than any shiny new one would. Imagination is priceless. What a blast she had!

very cute! its like a personal mardi gras float
LOL. I kid you not, that looks exactly like our swing set (minus the beads!) My boys would like to join in your daughter’s campaign as well, should a company want to send an extra set. (I should take pictures of ours so you can see they really look the same! )
Happy WW!
sometimes kids “make do” better than we think they will. I always think that the kids will be disappointed if we can’t do this or that and they always seem to manage without being miserable.
I LOVE that last photo of PN – so much personality!!!
Fabulous interior decorating. The purple beads and the dino book add that special touch. Adorable smile, such joy! 🙂
I Love the bead decorations! Very nice!
Good luck getting your play set to review! 🙂
Happy Wednesday!
Awww precious!
I’m loving her long hair. Hmmm…no dino’s?
Have a great Wednesday!

How very smart is she? 🙂 I love it!!! I need me some girl here. If someone would like to send me one to review…?:)
I LOVE the new font!!!
Oh I wish I could hang out in a sleeveless shirt!!!
I love PN, she is so creative!
Nice plug, mama. lol 😀 Seriously, she is such a creative little girl. I love that she can find fun anywhere, just like my girls. We raised they well, didn’t we? 😉
Thanks for stopping by for WW! 🙂
BTW…I love the new font on your blog. It looks like you are handwriting every post. Very cool!
Mardi Gras in the Tree House! LOVE IT!
Ha! That is one of those things I will probably not get to experience, as a mom of two boys. Our stuff is all decorated with cars, trucks, men, and trains. Not nearly as fancy. She is too cute!!!
Personally, I think the beaded play set looks fantastic!! I love that she’s able to see beauty in things and make them her own. Perfect.
It looks GAR-GEOUS! I love those beads, Baby uses the same concept wherever she things some pretty-ing up needs to happen. Looks like fun all around!
Love the beads!!
Don’t you just love watching the little ones play : )
She’s going to have the best memories of her clubhouse!
Oooo. I like her style!
She did a fabulous job!!! Tell her I said “well done”!!
Beautiful

I love the beads too. It makes the swing set Fab-U-Lous! 🙂
The last picture is cute with her hamming it up for the camera!
She has a gift for decorating! Such fun! 🙂
It looks nice and colorful now!!
LOVE IT! That is sparktacular! We live in Galveston and just got finished with all of the Mardi Gras festivities. We have beads handing from bed posts, fans, you name it, they are adorning everything! She did a super job!
I think it’s GREAT that she has such a wonderful imagination! As long as it doesn’t become a safety hazard, I say keep it!! And let her keep exploring her creativity. 🙂
she’s amazing. Her imagination and creativity always impresses me.
Oh I love this. Also jealous you all are outside without snow. It’s still freezing here!
What a neat idea! She’s a pretty girl with a great imagination. My girls still love to play with those bead too. 🙂
Clearly she is going to be an interior decorator some day!
That’s really cute! My daughter has a box of those beads too and she loves playing with them! 🙂
I love PN’s idea of reviewing a new playset!
Thank you for stopping by my blog, Stacy! I love, love what Princess Nagger did to enhance her play set! She has some good talents.
That is a girl with a spirit I can get behind
She’s got a fabulous and festive style! Think the swingset looks like much-adored vintage now! 🙂
Looks like great fun:-)
I love it! I can see her own HGTV show in the future!
Loving the beads!
Now that is one stylish tree house! I have never seen one look that gorgeous before. An interior designer in the making perhaps?
Best wishes,
Natasha.
