We’re in the final week of February – where has the time gone?!  Princess Nagger is very happy she’s off school today and tomorrow, and even happier school will be coming to a close just over three months from now.  Only three months!   Which means I better buckle down and get done what I need to around  the house that I can’t when she’s here shadowing my every move.  You know, like clearing out old toys that she doesn’t play with.  She has, after all, inherited the pack-rat trait from me.  Ahem.

Being that it’s Monday and still the month of February, and even though Valentine’s Day was last week, it’s still the Month of Love.  Which means sharing the love with love songs via Monday’s Music Moves Me.  I love to share.  Get it?  Love.    So for this week’s continuing love-fest, I’ve decided to show some love to the Dixie Chicks.  Lord knows they need it.  Cowboy Take Me Away is a favorite of mine – listen and see why:

And, since I seem to have been sharing the love for all country tunes lately, I decided I better give some love to another of my favorite groups, Aerosmith.  Seeing Steven Tyler on American Idol (who is doing a surprisingly good job as a judge – my doubts have been vanquished) reminded me of another of my favorite songs, I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing:

    Love your song choices this week. I think I belt out almost all the Chicks’ songs. That Aerosmith certainly brings me back.

    As for the toy clearing, perhaps you could do this with your princess? Donate the toys so she can feel good about what she has?
