It’s Monday already? How’d that happen? It’s cold, and will be all week. Mother Nature promised us a boatload of snow last Thursday night, but didn’t deliver. Apparently, she’s planning another round of it tomorrow night into Wednesday, with threats of 1-2 feet. Which, from how she’s been doing thus far this winter, will mean 1-2 inches. Princess Nagger keeps hoping for an actual Snow Day, we’ll see how this next storm system really pans out.
So far I haven’t minded being in the bubble that hasn’t gotten snow dumped on us. I’ve been thankful I haven’t been housebound with a precocious 8-year old and had extra hovering from the Hovering Hubby. It’s also been helpful since we’re still working frantically on our Summer House renovations – right now I’m sitting in the room draped in plastic, with my laptop barely peeking out of the shroud, and my fingers are frozen. Sure, I could take it in and use it in the warmth of the house, and I probably will do that later. For now it’s kind of fun being in the middle of the chaos, and giving my input on where things will be going once we get it all done and are able to set up our respective computer/office/fun spaces. Since it’s Monday, that means another round of fun with Monday’s Music Moves me – it’s ‘free choice’ this week, I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite fun songs from Brad Paisley. I’m still too jealous that you have a separate building (no matter what shape it is in) to go to that I can’t think of a good comment.
We have gotten all of the snow that you have been denied. We are supposed to get another 18 inches on Tuesday but I refuse to believe it. The girls have had 4 days of school in the last 2 weeks so we are pretty much done with snow days. I would be happy to trade places for a little while.
