It’s the last Monday before Christmas!! Are you ready? I finally got a tree up yesterday. Princess Nagger and I will be decorating it after she gets home from school today. I know, nothing like waiting until the last minute. Of course I could have followed old Swedish tradition and waited until Christmas Eve, but I wanted to have a place to put wrapped presents (which I haven’t started wrapping yet) and enjoy the festivity of at least a decorated tree.
Once again it’s time for Monday’s Music Moves Me! This month, for obvious reasons, we’re doing Christmas music. This has always been one of my favorite fun Christmas songs – guaranteed to bring a smile:

Great song choices. Before Christmas gets here I just might be buying the Charlie Brown Christmas tree (we sell them at work and Linus’ blanket too!)
I’m glad you go the tree up… we are doing Christmas Lite this year – the tree is up, but not too much else! I’m glad it warmed up a tad and the wind stopped blowing!
Off to Christmas shop – you know how it is on school days, the kids are back home before you even realize they left!

I’ve never heard about Leroy, but I totally love it, and now am adding that one to my Christmas favorites eeeeeeee hawwwwwwwwww. ROFL Totally, totally cool ! LOL I can’t wait until the hubby gets home to play it for him, and who doesn’t love Charlie Brown has got to be something wrong with them. Fred Astaire what a great story teller, and dancer. I totally love the old “cartoons” which weren’t I think it was claymation? They rocked. After much discussion, we have the tree up.
Leroy is new to me too Stacy but it was a great new find for me.
Of course Charley and Fred are great classics. I just got my tree up too.
The cats have already found their new home….oops there goes another ornament!

I had never heard the story of Leroy the Redneck Reindeer..I like how everybody piles into the pickup at the end. Of course Charlie Brown and Fred Astaire are Christmas classics.
