One week from today is Thanksgiving. One week!! I don’t know about you, but this year seems to have flown by much faster than years past. And I don’t want to hear the time-worn phrase of ‘time flies by faster as you get older‘ – because I refuse to become old. At least not right now. I’m having too much fun reliving my childhood through Princess Nagger to even think about getting old.
This is the time of year you start to think about all the things you’re thankful for – you know, so that when you gather ’round the dinner table next week you have your ‘list’ all ready to go (that is, if you do that sort of thing around the dinner table on Thanksgiving). I, for one, have a lot to be thankful for, but here are my top three:
I’m thankful every day for my little Miracle Girl – just when I had pretty much resigned myself to never being able to have a baby, God surprised me (big time) with the arrival of Princess Nagger.
I’m thankful for all my awesome bloggy friends – you all have been there through thick and thin, and I appreciate your input and interaction greatly.
I’m thankful for hubby’s patience and willingness to be the main bread winner so I could stay home with Princess Nagger and start my own fun business, rather than return to the Corporate World.
“We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”

What are you thankful for?
This Thankful Spin Cycle was brought to you in part by Jen, who’s bloggy friendship is something I’m very thankful for, and who is also Sprite’s Keeper. Stop by and check out the other Thankful Spinners – you’ll be glad you did…and you don’t have to thank me!
I’m thankful for my husband of 27 years. That poor man; he puts up with a lot.
I am thankful for a lot of things. The thing I am most thankful for right now is that my business is going well. It doesn’t leave me much time for blogging but it still makes me happy.
Oh, I’m grateful for so many things, but right now I’m grateful for Thanksgiving because it gives me an excuse to actually think about the good things in my life rather than dwelling on the not-so-good.
smiles. lovely list…so much to be thankful for…
Oh Stacy, this is so precious! I am thankful for so much too.
I have so much to be thankful for too. One I didn’t mention on my blog was all the wonderful people I have met through blogging. Thank you for your comments and the smiles I get from them. I’m looking forward to lots more to come.

(I still have to wait until I get home to read your site since my work computer can’t handle the awesomeness!)
Wonderful spin!!! I love your top three, especially your little paleontologist!
Great spin! I like that quote a lot.
Great Spin- I love that you made a list of things for which you are thankful. I’ve been doing the same things and I find it helps me stay grounded and grateful.
Life is pretty beautiful when you recognize what really enriches your life. Good quote.
Hey Stacy, God has given you both a blessing with the birth of your child and I am so proud to see you getting a chance to stay home to raise her, my wife and I chose to do the same thing when our children were growing us, was it easy, nope not all the time but the experience was a blessing I am thankful for.
I always enjoyed sharing things we are thankful for around the thanksgiving table also.
I always get all verklempt when forced say what I’m thankful for at the table. I’m such a sap sometimes
We do this, and it’s a wonderful tradition.
