Happy Aloha Friday!
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So on Fridays let’s take it easy on posting, too. Ask a simple question…nothing that requires a lengthy response. It’s a great way to make new blogging friends!
One week from today we’ll all be lamenting our over-indulgence the day before (or not), and quite possibly a number of you will be in crowds like this:
My question for you this week is:
Will you be venturing out amongst the crowds and shopping on Black Friday?
I haven’t decided if I’m going to join the masses or not. I did it a couple of times years ago, but both times swore I’d never do that again – people seem to be extra rude on that day, and I’ve never gotten lucky to get the things on my list that were on major sale because by the time I made it (politely) through the crowds, the shelves were bare. It wasn’t worth the hassle. Now Cyber Monday I’m all over – and some retailers are trying to lure us shoppers in even earlier, with November turning into Black Friday month.
How about you? Will you be joining the masses, or taking advantage of online specials from the comfort of your home – or both (like I might end up doing)?

No way would I brave those crowds! I have been stockpiling my Christmas presents in the guest room, slowly but surely for the past month. (What else is there to do when the rest of the house is in reno-upheaval?) When it begins to snow here (sooner than later) I will begin wrapping them and getting ready to decorate the then cleaned-up and ready-for-company house. 🙂

We don´t have Black Friday here in Spain, but anyway I don´t like the masses.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I´m a follower now 😉
Absolutely, positively NOT. No. Double NO. We do not venture out on Black Friday; the very idea makes us cringe.
Besides, the only people that are really getting gifts are The Young One and The G Man; the rest of the kids get tickets to fly up here and visit or help paying bills – because that’s the way these parents of adults roll.
I haven’t decided yet. I usually opt for no, but there is a coat on sale that day only that I might need to brave the craziness for!
Of course!!! My sisters and sister in laws all go out and have fun!! We try not to get our hopes up on anything we just go out and look and buy what we like and find some good deals. We dont go out at midnight and wait in lines to get a certian thing so that makes it alot more fun that we just go for fun and see what kind of deals we can find.
I live for Black Friday! This year I heard that some of my fave stores at starting at midnight which has me more excited. No sleep!! Yay! lol I really do get that excited!
you could not drag me out there…lol. no way.
I usually do not go. Hubby and daughter do .

Heck NO! 🙂
No I wont be out with the crowds. I don’t do those freak shopping things.
There’ll always be deals
Have a great weekend!
I’m not going out super early, but I think I will go out and check the store in our town–just Walmart and Kmart. Unless my mom wants to go out of town to check more stuff out. Still not going early–that’s just nuts!
her for aloha friday – i’ve never shopped on a black friday and never will – if i can help it!
You know, there is nothing anyone around here really needs so, I guess we’ll watch whatever parades or movie repeats are on TV instead.
Have a great day!

I’ve shopped on black Friday before, but won’t be doing it this year. I doubt I’d find anything worth being trampled for.
Thanks for following. I’m following back.
I have never participated in Black Friday but have always wanted to. I am sure I would hate it since I hate crowds, but it just seems like something you should try once.
no way! I would die – hate crowds, etc. My shopping list is pretty small and I do a lot of online and around town shopping.
Not likely. I am not a crowd person the only thing I think I would for is a TV is my husband makes me!
black friday extreme shopping – NO way
I even posted an answer to your question before I knew you were going to ask.
Absolutely not. I do most of my shopping online.
I will be shopping Black Friday….online. No getting up early and battling a crowd for me!
I have in the past gone to a few stores. I don’t think I am going to this year. With all of the deals a few of the stores have already had we are pretty much done shopping.
I never go out on that day to shop. I’m too spoiled by being able to go at times when other are at work. The deals are always awesome and maybe I will shop online! However we have to drive into Los Angeles that day so I think traffic will be horrible.
Nope, Black Friday is not for me.
We’re expecting a snowstorm on Thanksgiving Day. Couple bad roads with lots and lots of shoppers – I won’t be shopping on Black Friday. Good luck to those who do venture out!
No, my love! Those days are over for me. I shop all year long, and look for bargains on line too! Unless there’s something I really want specifically I won’t be out there. Have fun!
sigh. Yes, I will be at our mall on Black Friday. Not to shop. I work as a server at TGI Fridays and I’ll be working all day. I’m hoping to make lots and lots of money!!!
No way. On Friday I hope to be in my sweats all day, enjoying a leftover turkey sandwich and some pie.
I don’t shop any other day of the week, so I would not be shopping on a Friday no matter what color it is. Ha.
I will definitely NOT be in that crowd. I prefer to do most of my shopping online and the rest on less crowded days!
No Black Friday up here, we’ll just watch the news of trampled WalMart shoppers in horrified wonder like we do every year.
not a chance..
lol, will be in bed!
Black Friday is just dumb. Shopping should be more civilized.
I’ll be working. 🙂
People are crazy. And getting crazier. There’s not enough money in the world to make me go out on black Friday. Every year I always hear more and more about people being trampled. Seriously? That’s the spirit of Christmas? I try not to shop between Thanksgiving and Christmas period. The internet is a wonderful thing.
I better go stock up our fridge and pantry so we can make it through the 6 weeks.

I’ve never done Black Friday and I don’t think I ever will. I don’t enjoy crowds and fighting over items.
Amazon all the way for me!! No way do I have the patience for that!
Are you kidding me??? lol! Heck no!
No way. . . this is why they created the internet, isn’t it? Black friday from the comfort of home…. I love technology
