1. We will be having turkey with all the dressings. That’s what he wants so I am going to go ahead and make it. I told my adult children that next year they must start taking care of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day! It will be the six of us for dinner. Hubby, me, son, sons best girl, daughter & SIL.
   Oh Charlie & Skye too!

2. I totally forgot Father’s Day was this weekend. Hubby reminded me two days ago. Nope no plans. Hubby has to work!

15. Our plans are about the same – I’m going to make Beloved his Very Favorite Breakfast of All Time – Eggs Benedict – and let him lounge around to his hearts content until he’s ready to grill some ribs for dinner (he enjoys it, and would be disappointed if he couldn’t).

16. Today was our get out and do something we have never done day. We got up early and got out of the house before 8 and we still didn’t get to do something we haven’t ever done. But we gave it a good try. We headed to the zoo. Never been to this zoo and we have been here two years. There was a zoo outside the zoo. For blocks all around the area and we had a hard time just getting near the entrance to the zoo. We don’t watch TV so we didn’t know what a big deal the College World Series is going on and that was taking all the police and thousands of people in that area. We decided that since we live right near we will wait till the series if finished and then try again. Darn.

20. No huge plans we are driving down to Cali to be with his family!

21. No, plans. We never do much on Father’s day. Next week I’ll be driving into the city to go to the cemetery with my daughter to put flowers on my dad’s grave like we do every year. Sometimes I get Father’s Day cards from my kids because in all reality I’m the one that raised them their whole life.

29. A big Happy Fathers day to all the Fathers out there. It isn’t Fathers Day until September over here in Australia, so I have a little while yet before deciding what to do for it this year.

30. I’m spending it with my Daddy, Just us together , it will be a week long Fathers Day party. Last night we watched Tooth Fairy and today we will go out some where.
