Snow Days are driving me slowly insane.  I like snow – but not in excessive amounts, like we’ve gotten thus far.  And Mother Nature is threatening to bring more snow tonight into tomorrow.  With more forecast for next week as well.  I’m so ready for Spring.  Now.

I’ve run out of patience creative ideas to keep the Princess Nagger busy – luckily she has school today since it’s a ‘make-up day’ from the snow we had in December.  With both her and Hovering Hubby under foot for too many days in a row, I’m ready to don the designer jacket with the arms in the back and call it a day.

I’m not a violent person, but if I see Mother Nature I just might have the urge to punch her in the face.

  1. Stopping by from SITS! I am 100% ready for Spring as well… too many dull and grey days here… and I am for sure over the snow! 🙂 Hang in there!

  2. I’m going crazy myself. My house looks like a bomb went off in it and I don’t bother cleaning because an hour later it will look the same. And with this going on two weeks in a row, I’d be wearing the same designer jacket.

  3. They cancelled the makeup day here in our county, because the schools still aren’t completely dug out. They are supposed to be open tomorrow with a late start. I may just shoot myself if this snow they are calling for tonight hits. Ten days of having them under foot is driving me crazy! UGH!! I moved south from Canada to AVOID the snow!

  4. I really am sorry to hear that snow is making your life miserable.

Have you made blanket forts in the livingroom? picnics under the dining table? PUZZLES! Most people hate ’em but they’re perfect for days like these. Cookies (and send them my way) 🙂

And you know spring is going to keep you inside too – mushy gooey ookiness from an over snowy winter. Or *whispers* floods. You might just have to divide rooms with masking tape and force everyone to keep to their quadrant. Forever.

  5. I am so glad that my kids are both really really independent. I swear, when they’re home I only see them maybe 1/3 of the day. They just do their own things.

And I know you’re tired of the snow, but you have no clue what I’d give for some of it!

  6. I am a huge fan of snow, but even I have been going a bit stir crazy being stuck inside. Teachers go back tomorrow around here, then the kids on Wednesday. Should be interesting! Hang in there, I promise spring is around the corner.

  7. Just think about this summer when we will escape for a weekend in NY. Princess Nagger and hubby can stay home taking care of the dogs.
