Princess Nagger got up at an astonishingly early hour of 6:00 am yesterday. Usually she’s a late sleeper which gives me time to have a nice quiet morning of blog-hopping and commenting with my morning cup or two of coffee, but yesterday didn’t happen. Instead, we enjoyed ‘salon day’ – well, Dora’s head on her vanity table did, as well as the Princess Nagger sporting every one of her headbands.
I thought it was pretty funny so I snuck up on her and snapped a picture – yes, she’s perched on the stool that came with the vanity table, and yes, she’s in her underwear. She came downstairs wearing the outfit I left out for her, but that didn’t last long – as it normally doesn’t when we have no plans to go anywhere. She prefers to be Underwear Girl. Might as well let her enjoy it – it’s been hot, and soon enough she’ll have to gear-up for school which is looming just two weeks from today. 😉

She is just too funny. I used to get so annoyed when Tara would get up earlier than anticipated. She was an early riser to begin with, which has led to me being an even earlier riser so I would have that morning time! Tonight, I can't go to sleep! UGH!
The picture won't come up for me because my internet is evil. I wish I could find a job where I could work in my underwear. Ya. That would be great.

It is funny, because I just got up and am not quite awake yet, so it took me about 3 looks at the photo to realize that she was the only person in the picture. I thought that the Dora head was another child! LMAO!
My husband and son have "pantsless Friday's" I say go for it in this (finally) hot summer weather!
I'm with Otin, I thought she was having a sleepover. I love it when they can use their imaginations and entertain herself.

Ha. My two year old loves to be naked, I usually draw the line when it comes to the diaper, but if we're home it really only takes minutes after I dress him for those same clothes to be strewn all over the living room. You're right though, he'll have plenty of time to be dressed, might as well let him hang out at home unrestricted. 😉
She can really entertain herself well This trick took my boys a long time to learn. My youngest loves to be naked. Just in the last year – he stopped running around in the nude. He still likes to walk around in his underwear too.

Princess Cheese finally grew out of the habit of running round stark( especially outside!) It got quite embarassing. Now if she would just manage to get up that early for school!-LOL!

What freedom being a child! Soon enough, the world will put its ways onto a guiltless person…making them an adult. We sure lost a lot when a couple of people bit into an apple!
That is very cute… my kids love hanging out in their underwear also. It is my job to make sure they do not sneak outside that way.

Great pic of Princess Nagger. 6am is too early. Our A/C unit went on strike last night so the humans and dogs are not doing so well. Lil' D decided to wake up early today. I got no sleep last night. Happy WW and take care.

I hate clothes – my daughter and I run around in our underwear all the time – no bras allowed on my end, either, not that I need one – then when we hear my son walking down the stairs – we start screaming and yelling "I'm naked!" and he stops so he isn't traumatized by seeing his mother in the buff. After two c-sections I'm not a pretty sight . . .
Every day is salon day for my daughter. Giant Barbie heads, dolls, her own face, my face, sometimes the boys next door – everyone and everything gets made up and made over. Messy and fun – until I leave the house with blue eye shadow and remember it when I'm walking down the aisle at Acme.
Ah, such fun times! I remember when my daughters used to "overdo" it as well. Not just one barrette, but many. Not just one necklace, but several.
