I missed participating last week while my computer was not yet up and running – so it’s great to be able to participate in Quotable Sunday today! Can you believe it’s the last Sunday in August? Where’d the month go?? Since things are a bit helter skelter adjusting to a new schedule now that Princess Nagger is back in school, I thought it would be perfect timing to do quotes about Schedules and Time. Enjoy!

“Interruptions can be viewed as sources of irritation or opportunities for service, as moments lost or experience gained, as time wasted or horizons widened. They can annoy us or enrich us, get under our skin or give us a shot in the arm. Monopolize our minutes or spice our schedules, depending on our attitude toward them.”
William Arthur Ward

“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.”
Stephen R. Covey

“I am definitely going to take a course on time management… just as soon as I can work it into my schedule.”
Louis E. Boone

“I don’t make my own schedule – it’s constructed around my sons’ school schedules.”
Jane Haddam

“The Ninety-Ninety Rule of Project Schedules – the first ninety percent of the task takes ninety percent of the time, and the last ten percent takes the other ninety percent.”
Arthur Bloch

“Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of. One man gets only a week’s value out of a year while another man gets a full year’s value out of a week.”
Charles Richards

“Make use of time, let not advantage slip.”
William Shakespeare

“Never let yesterday use up today.”
Richard H. Nelson

  15. Those are some awesome quotes!! I'll have to show my hubby some of those=–especially the one about a year out of a week and a week out of a year. He will love that.

  16. I barely even had time to stop by and read this post! 😉 I swear, I've never been so busy as when I became a SAHM. Now I have to fill every second of every day or the kids revolt. Counting the days until they're both in kindergarten like PN.
