I have been stressing about my vacation in August and now I have some unexpected guests coming who want me to also go to Vegas for a few days with them. I am so afraid that if I don't commet people will stop following me. You really can't catch up on the reading. I don't know why I'm worried, I wouldn't stop following someone when I knew they were on vacation.
Enjoy, they don't come about that often.
I loved the Mark Kennedy quote!!!
Happy Sunday and the high technology awaits for you arms wide open:)))
Happy B-lated 4th!!!
Maybe being technology free was a blessing in disguise! I'm glad you been enjoying your vacation!
I like this quote…"Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain."
J.K. Rowling
I hope you enjoyed a few stress free technology free days!
Now I need to go figure out my TOPIC for the week!
Technology is one of the things that makes me doubt my doctors. When they claim that nature was mistaken, but they have the technology to overcome / correct it, I lose faith in them.
Yeah, so frustrating! I couldn't even imagine having a limit. Not with all the accessing we do in this house, omg!

Ah yes…so very true! Technology is both a blessing and a curse indeed! I especially like the quote from Aldous Huxley about a means for going backwards. I see that especially with today's children and all of the texting. It's like they've forgotten how to speak face to face and communication is no longer a valued skill. What will happen to them when they go on their first job interview? I don't think they'll sit across the desk from their potential employer and text back and forth. Hmm…great post!
I know you're about to go crazy without internet connection! Ha! I hope you have a great vacation!
Hahah on the Edison quote. I think that guy was missing the point.
Think of how we feel without our Staceyness all week ;(
I love technology!!! My cell phones navigator tool got me home last week when I was lost!!!
All great quotes today! Technology can be scary sometimes!
We have become so advanced that we are almost Human- Otin (lol)
I love the Mark Kennedy quote! It is so true that tons of inventions come from laziness!
Love all your quotes! I need my connection — I use it to homeschool.
I'm very impressed with your blogging dedication … I never blog on vacation and you are doing it despite technological problems. At least you don't have to write a vacation post when you get home!!! : )
Technology can be my biggest nightmare.
Too funny! We were on vacation beginning of June, and there is no internet access in the cabins where we stay.
I popped open the LT just on a whim one evening and discovered an unlocked signal coming from the neighboring house on the river.
I found myself teetering atop a picnic table and the gate with the LT held out just far enough so that I could check my email. LOL!
Come to find out? They are bringing in internet, but they just hadn't gotten it to our cabins yet. And, the little store up the road offered an open signal!
Now I have a G1 Phone so I'll never go 'unwired' again!
I think you did quite a lot considering you were working with handicapped Internet. I hope you had a great trip!
"Technology… is a queer thing. It brings you great gifts with one hand, and it stabs you in the back with the other."
Isn't this one so true?
