Mom Blogs

Comments are an important part of every Blogger’s day…I know I sure look forward to any comments left for me! 🙂 5 Minutes for Mom has this weekly ritual to recognize your top commenters, and it’s a great way to say Thank You to the people that really make your day via comments.

Friday’s have gotten so busy with the various things I post that I didn’t want this special acknowledgment to get lost in the shuffle…I originally planned on having it upload early this morning, but I ended up trying to change my blog around a bit so it would load faster… 🙂 I figure better late than never, since I didn’t get a chance to say thanks and acknowledge my top commentators last week.

This week I’ve decided to put the spotlight on 3 wonderful commentators from my Top 10 list – well, the Top 10 as of yesterday morning since I started this post yesterday…(grin!) The widget I use isn’t working as beautifully as it used to now that I have the new comment thingy (which I’m still debating the worthiness of, since many of my past comments have gone missing…again.) Anyhoo… So many wonderful Bloggers take time out of their busy day to stop by and make comments on my little ol’ blog, and I am forever grateful for the comments! 🙂

First, I would like to send a special ‘Thank You’ to Debbie – her blog, Suburb Sanity is definitely a favorite of mine, she writes her posts in such a way that you feel like you’re there in that moment with her. I love her subtitle of her blog, “Laughing…and still going insane” which pretty much sums up my day-to-day existence…(grin!!) Her quick wit, ‘shoot-from-the-hip’ persona mirrors mine (but we won’t tell her that…*grin!*) so I really enjoy reading her posts and enjoy the notion that there’s someone out there who thinks the same way I do. 😉 Debbie, thank you so much for making the time to stop by and leave your witty comments…they are truly appreciated! 🙂

Next I would like to send a special ‘Thank You’ to Jenn of The Coupon Coup… Jenn is one of the fearless leaders of the Wii Mommies group, and her positive attitude and non-stop encouragement inspires many people. She recently found out she’s pregnant again, and after consulting her doctor was given the ‘green light’ to continue her workouts with the WiiFit – so she formed the Maternity Mommies group to encourage staying fit and being healthy through pregnancy. With everything she has on her plate, Jenn always makes time to stop by and leave a comment for me…it always makes me feel special! 🙂 Thank you, Jenn, for your comments and inspiration. You are appreciated!

And finally, I would like to thank Justine of Tiney’s Froggy Bloggy – I only recently discovered her blog, and she has been busy leaving me fun and funny comments even though she’s been busy moving and wrapped up in a good-natured blog feud with her sister. If you haven’t discovered her blog yet, you really need to check her out, she’s hilarious!

I work a bit of a weird schedule and only get to post and read my fave blogs three times a week 🙁 But you can rest assure that on those three days you will hear from me. I enjoy reading your blog. 🙂

  6. Stacy, what can I say girl? I barely know you yet, but I already love you, your blog, and your writing! Now let’s not go too far though. I do hate your JS-Kit comment thingy, but you already know that since I’ve told ya before.

    I think it’s awesome that you spotlight good commenters. Yeah, we’re special too dammit! In my case that would probably be “speshool” though. If only you knew what Jill and I were up to last night in the name of blogging. Oy. We’re INSANE.
    Now I need some special help. Don’t know if you saw it, but I made myself a cute little Bloggy button, but I could NOT figure out how to display the html code for others to grab the way you have it in a little box/table/thingamajig. Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
