They didn’t ask me to review the product, but I have actually purchased some of the new Snuggle Creme the last two times I needed to get fabric softener – and I was thoroughly impressed with the outcome.

You may remember in one of my previous posts how I mentioned sometimes I forget hubby’s clothes in the dryer for a few days – and to avoid ironing, I’ll hang his shirts and spritz them with Febreeze so the dryer wrinkles will ‘magically disappear’. It works, but I’m guessing the reason it works so well is because I always use fabric softener in my laundry. Always. I like the extra softness, and some people may think it’s overkill to use both a fabric softener and a dryer sheet, but just using one or the other didn’t seem to have quite the same softening effect that I like. I’ve tried other brands, but for some reason Snuggle is the only one that doesn’t have the extra potent smell – which is a good thing, because I have a very sensitive nose for smell. Which works against me in certain situations. Snuggle is also the only brand that hasn’t given me issues clogging up the fabric softener dispenser in my washer. So that’s a bonus.

At any rate, when I was shopping not long ago, ‘fabric softener’ was on my list…as per usual, I sought out the Snuggle brand, and saw they had something new. Always intrigued by cool new things, I bought the Sweet Almond Essence because I’ve always been partial to the scent of almonds – give me nutty or fruity over flowery any day…it sometimes meshes with my personality better… 😉

I was pleasantly surprised – the scent is very mellow, and even my hubby appreciated not smelling ‘feminine’ when I used it on his clothes, too. The Princess Nagger didn’t have any issues with it, either – when I’ve tried alternate or off-brands, she tends to get itchy, so I’ve always had to revert back to the original version of Snuggle I’ve used since her birth.

  1. Do you know that I have never even tried fabric softener? I use dryer sheets but that’s it! I’m with you on hating the floral scents and being sensitive to scent in the first place. I love citrus, fruity, or nutty as well. Almond makes me happy so I think I just might try this. Thanks!

  7. I often forget and leave laundry in the dryer, too. I usually just run the dryer again, though. Come to think of it, I forget laundry in the washer, too, and then have to run that again, too. With all the fabric softener I waste, I can definitely use this coupon! Thanks!
