I had the opportunity to try out the Sane Fitness Quick Start system – “Full Body Workouts That Won’t Drive You Crazy. This unique card set is hailed by “Prevention” magazine and by “The New York Times” as the “preferred” fitness deck. I have to agree. It does provide a concise, practical, and easy exercise routine that is perfect for any busy woman. Full-color photographs of every exercise, high-quality cardstock, and a bonus lanyard make this a perfect workout companion.

I have been using my WiiFit as part of the Wii Mommies group to shed my 6-year old ‘baby weight’, and thought this would be the perfect addition to those workouts to gain a greater success on my continuing loss. I was right! Since Hovering Hubby has been home, I haven’t been able to do my WiiFit workouts at all this week, but I was able to send him out to run some errand three days this week – perfect timing to utilize these cards. I have a propensity for only working out when no one’s home…call me crazy, but it’s the way I like it!

The workouts were simple and easy to follow – I felt great and felt the burn (and the sore muscles the next day). Thanks to the Sane Fitness easy routines, I was able to shed 2 more pounds this week in spite of my lack of WiiFit time the past two weeks. I’m looking forward to using both my WiiFit and the Sane Fitness pack next week to see how extra successful I’ll be combining the two.

For the Pregnant Mommies, Sane Fitness even has a version to keep fit while pregnant. A similar great set of cards, specifically geared towards the Pregnant Mommy.

From the Sane Fitness web site:

Why is Sane Fitness so effective?

We’ve done the heavy lifting of figuring out what you need to do to get in shape. Because your time is precious, we’ve designed a program for you that requires:

  • the least amount of time (less than an hour 3x a week)
  • minimal, easy-to-store equipment at home (or at your favorite gym)

How Does it Work?

To save you time, to get your muscles in the best condition, and burn the most possible calories, we’ve chosen effective exercises that make you move more than one joint at a time.

For instance, if you base your routine around multi-joint exercises like squats, push ups, one-arm rows, lunges, shoulder presses and leg raises like we’ve done in our Quick Start Kit; you will be in better shape than most and sooner than most!

And just to give you more incentive to check out these cool cards, here are some sample cards to check out (click on each image for a larger view):

The deck features six week’s worth of full body workouts on easy-to-follow portable cards. It’s the perfect companion for busy women and mom’s on the go. Their philosophy is: “Your life is already crazy. Your fitness routine should not be.” Check them out at www.sanefit.com. You’ll be glad you did!

A special thank you to Role Mommy for the opportunity to review these cards – they’re going to be a welcome addition to my Fitness Friday posts in the future! 🙂

  2. Looks like an interesting product, I’ll have to look into it. Thanks for sharing!

And I don’t like to workout with my husband watching either…makes me nervous or something. My 2yo DS I don’t mind, but that’s about it!

  3. Cool! This is a whole new weight loss program for me, I haven’t seen it before. I sure could do to shed a few lol!
