Since I tend to have trouble keeping words to a minimum, once again I thought it’d be fun to do both Wordless Wednesday (which got a little wordy all by itself) and join in the fun for Wordful Wednesday, too! πŸ˜‰

The Princess Nagger’s Kindergarten class celebrated their 100th day of school this past Monday. They did all sorts of things, one of which was to draw a self portrait of what they think they’d look like when they’re 100 years old. This is the Princess Nagger’s drawing:
She handed the picture to me and announced: “This is what I’m going to look like when I’m 100 years old!” all proud as can be.

I took one look at it and burst out laughing. Hysterically.Β  She laughed with me.Β  Then I looked a little closer and had to ask for clarification…

Me: “Um, what’s this here?” (as I indicate what looked to me like three rows of boobs…)

Princess Nagger: “Oh, that’s my neck – see all the wrinkles?”

So apparently at the ripe old age of 100, she’ll have rows of bags/circles under her eyes, and a neck like a giraffe (one of her favorite animals) complete with wrinkles. But she’ll still be smiling! πŸ˜‰

Now, I’m off to see what everyone else has posted at this week’s Wordful Wednesday hosted by Angie at 7 Clown Circus!

  1. That picture is so cute! It’s actually kind of how I feel right now…need more coffee! πŸ™‚

    Love your web designs!

  2. Love it!!! From the mouths (or in this case, pencil crayons) of babes…
I love that she’s embracing her advanced years!!!

  3. Too cute!!!! Michelle had a days of 100 at school yesterday too. Everyone had to bring a bag of treats totally 100. So 100 choco chips, or 100 prezels etc….

She didn’t even eat dinner last night. Guess they did some major snacking at school.

  4. I could only hope to look that good at 100!!

My kids celebrated 100 days this week as well. I don’t remember ever doing that when I was in school.

  5. Ha! I feel about 100 today too. Glad the wrinkly neck isn’t three rows of boobs. That would scare me a little.

  6. Our Kindergartner’s 100th day is tomorrow. I’m too excited to see what he will be bringing home. We’ve already counted 100 pennies, dinosaurs, and pretzel fishes. (I feel 100 this week). Luv your daughters picture. Great imagination.

  7. Hahhahhaha! I look like that TODAY. Without the neck wrinkles/extra boobs.

(maybe she thought 100 years from now that would be the fashion, and just didn’t want to tell you that part).
