    @I am Harriet: Finally someone saw me on SITS! (grin!!) It takes everything I’ve got to post pictures without adding comments to them…that’s why I followed up with a Wordful Wednesday post, too – the best of both worlds! (snicker!) Could you pretty please send snow instead of ice? (grin!!) We thought about waiting until Spring to get a puppy, but we couldn’t resist…so we’re paper training him on WeeWee Pads (I crack up every time I see the box!) and he’s doing really well – I put it near the back door so he’ll know the general vicinity he needs to be when we start ushering him out the back door when it’s not so cold. The big dog goes out all the time – I think it makes the puppy jealous that he doesn’t get to go out too…(grin!!) Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

    @Chris: He is definitely the kind of puppy that makes one want to get one – he’s very good, he already answers to his name (we’ve had him for 10 days now), and so far he’s pretty much ‘paper trained’ – since he’s so small, and we have an invisible fence, we decided that we’d paper train him until Spring – when it’s warmer and he’s big enough to be fitted for a collar for the invisible fence. Luckily our other dog is well trained, so he’ll probably give him some pointers, too! 😉 And so far he hasn’t chewed up any of the Princess Nagger’s toys that she leaves laying around – we’ve been making sure he focuses on the doggy toys and chewies, and it seems to be working so far! (knock wood! *grin!*) Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

    Your kitty reminds me of a beloved barn cat we had as kids named Sam. Is it me, or is Kitty unamused? Because of the puppy? Surely not…

  21. @Shangrila: Awww, thank you Shangrila! His coat is getting more beautiful as his colors all come in…I’ll have to continue to post progressive pictures… 🙂 We used to have a barn cat named Sam! He was cool! 🙂 Kitty is definitely unamused – partly because of the puppy, and partly because of the flash…heh, heh! He’s getting used to the puppy, though, he’s not running and hiding every time the puppy tries to play with him…(grin!) Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
