LOL thats too funny! I know its a made up word, but that cat looks so fluppy. Like one of those cats that are light and soft and when you pick them up they go limp and just want you to love them.
Too funny!! I wish our old cat would have submitted to shaving, he shed like a crazy man, but it freaked him out.

@April: Black cats are cool! 🙂 He’s pretty laid back, so he tolerates when we shave him…sometimes, though, we have to do it in 2 phases, because he’ll get restless, so we’ll give him (and us) a break for a couple of hours, then pounce and finish the job…(grin!) Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

Our cat sheds a good deal, and we found that by shaving him at least once a year, it also cuts down on hair balls… 😉 I think it helped that we started shaving him at a young age to get him used to it, but I think it’s mostly because he has such a laid back ‘tude… 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by! 😉

Cats seem to sit in the strangest places!! The other day my daughter came home from choir, and dropped her bag on the floor. The cat curled up on it.

Mmmmm. I never heard of shaving a cat, although someone once suggested shellacking them might prevent shedding.
Our cats have always found the most interesting places to nap, too.

I shaved a cat once. I ran out of bandaids trying to tape myself together afterwards.

I could see him doing just that, though…good thing we are currently feeding the puppy in the dog crate (so both the other dog and the cat will leave the puppy food alone…*snicker!*) Our cat is pretty tricky that way – making it obvious what he’s ‘asking’ for…if the water fountain thingy I got him is getting low, he’ll sit there and stare at it…for a long time…then if he notices me notice him, he’ll let out the most pitiful meow…makes me laugh every time! 😉 The new puppy is winning the cat over slowly but surely, though…he already has the big dog playing with him. It’s hilarious to see, since the big dog is about 6 times bigger than the puppy…*grin!* Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

I have found my cat in similar predicaments including, partially in a shoe, a gift box, a few baskets….currently he is positioned directly in front of the space heater. What a spoiled kitty!
