As I do final preparations for this afternoon’s Mega Feast, I pause and give thanks for many things. I’m thankful to God for blessing me with a beautiful daughter in spite of the prospect of not being able to have children after a brush with cervical cancer 20 years ago – I couldn’t have special-ordered a more wonderful child if I tried! I’m thankful for my darling husband who loves me just for me and works hard to support our family. I’m thankful for all my family members, even though we’re thousands of miles apart I know they’ll be thinking of me today, as I will be thinking of them. I’m thankful for my circle of friends who truly make me laugh.
Enjoy this wonderful fun-filled (and food-filled) Holiday and be sure to take a moment to stop and count all your blessings. I know I will! 🙂
