Tuesday has arrived again – can you believe it’s the final Tuesday of July?! Why does it seem the days are flying faster than ever before? Much of the country (and Europe, for that matter) have been subjected to some major heatwave weather. Apparently the Pacific Northwest was feeling a little left out, I mean last year in June we had mega record-breaking temps, but this year our summer started off on the ‘cooler-than-normal’ side.

That’s all going to change this week – as a matter of fact, the heat has already started as of Sunday, with the Excessive Heat warning starting Tuesday and continuing through Friday. Now more than ever I wish our house had central air – at least the window A/C units in the bedrooms make for better sleep, but holy moly, cooking in the heat in the kitchen is no fun at all.

You know what is fun though, don’t you? Funnies! This is hilarious:

  1. Heeheehee! The heat and “the circumstances” might not be funny, but your post is, and i thank you.

  2. I can’t find your music post for this week but I totally enjoyed your Tuesday funnies, especially the Wal Mart (oh, those pants!) and “Today’s Special”. I used to live in Northern Texas and also lived in Kansas during a then record heat wave, so I can feel some of your pain going through that type of heat once again. I hope you can stay cool!
