Can you believe today is the final Tuesday of June? Is it just me, or is time flying by faster every year? Forget every year: every day, week, and month seem to be going by at hyper-speed.
Remember when I mentioned we were having a cold, wet start to summer? We were joking around that is was Juneuary instead of just June. Well, summer has officially arrived with a vengeance, by way of a heatwave! At least this one pales in comparison to the heatwave we had this time last year – and this one not only won't be as hot, but won't be sticking around as long, either. Thankfully we should be back to ‘normal' 70-80 degree ‘summer weather' in just a few days. fingers crossed
We're seriously talking about seeing what it would cost to have a heat pump / AC combo installed in our house – at some point it really would be nice to have central air, and if we do a heat pump, that should also save money during the winter months. We'll see how that goes! At least we have window air conditioners in our bedroom windows, so that helps with sleep – can't sleep when it's too hot!
