Wrapping up May with a Yoga Dog, Eagle Talons and plenty of Random: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Oooh! It’s the last Tuesday of May – June is literally around the corner! Which means school is coming to an end – Princess Nagger (who is no longer a Princess but still and always a Nagger) will be virtually graduating on June 6th! GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL, people! Seems like just yesterday we were anticipating Kindergarten Graduation – how did the time fly by so fast?!

We haven’t made any summer plans yet – the hubby and I are fully vaccinated, PN gets a second dose on Sunday, and they’ve adjusted the age again, so now Little Dude qualifies, so we’ll be getting him scheduled in the near future, too. It’s nice that things are sort of getting back to a semblance of ‘normal’, whatever that actually means.

Work has been as busy as ever, though there’s been a reduction of clients (voluntary and involuntary) – I really needed to cut back on some hours, working 50-ish hours a week was wreaking havoc on my mental bandwidth, and then some. It’s nice to be getting back to actually having time to focus on family, and maybe I’ll finally have a chance to do the decluttering I’m determined to do, as well as get my winemaking room finally set up! I’m looking forward to getting back into my winemaking, I’ve missed the chemistry challenge!

Speaking of chemistry… I’m sure you heard of the gas shortage out east recently right? What were people thinking about putting gasoline in plastic bags? I just can’t with people.

This yoga dog – Is. Awesome.

Speaking of awesome… I never imagined how big Eagle talons really are:

I love this:

This cracked me up:

This is funny (and amen to that!):

I love this (Rodney is a friend and comedian who has written some hilarious books – his twitter and facebook posts always crack me up):

As things are opening back up (and as far as I know, school will be back 100% next school year) I found this particularly funny:

And I’m just going to leave this right here for you:

That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the , everyone is welcome.

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. So true about remembering lyrics, but not what I’m looking for. And I love the skittles dog farts! Congrats to Princess Nagger. It’s hard to believe she’s graduating! I must have been reading your blog for a long while now.

  2. I’ve seen the one about the identical cats before, but it never fails to give me a laugh. Actually, I wish I had two cats like those. Likewise, the guinea pig one was funny.

I miss the old desk/table phones, especially the ones with a dial. Call me old-fashioned…

  3. Sorry that i’m so late to the party, i am having a serious allergic reaction to some eye drops the doc gave me, it has put me way behind.

Thanks for the great laughs, i especially liked the yoga dog!
