Christmas Star; Tree Status-quo; Maxwell Smartypants; Christmas Week Random: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Christmas week, people! As of the writing of this post, I have yet to wrap even one present. 10 more packages arrived yesterday – I really need to clone myself and get things done!

Don’t forget to look up – this amazing event happens tonight (Monday night) but apparently those that are they say that it should be visible through Christmas Eve – I hope so, we’ve been having a mega wind and rain day ushering winter in. 

Guess what?! My tree still looks like this:

I’m almost tempted not to bother putting the ornaments on, besides being super busy with work, I suppose I’ve been subconsciously procrastinating, as I’m not sure that Maxwell won’t decide he needs to play with all the cool ‘toys’. Speaking of Max, he’s now 8 months old, just over 72 pounds (and still growing) and has been a champ running into stuff with his cone of shame since last Tuesday:

Look at that face! Isn’t he adorable? He is the sweetest, gentlest giant on the planet. I tell you what, though, it’s quite interesting rolling over at night and encountering that cone, especially when he decides he wants to cuddle. And during the day, he’ll follow too close behind me, and attempt to bulldoze me out of the way with it. Only one more week, and he’ll be cone-free.
