Christmas Star; Carrie Underwood in my Living Room; Random Funnies – Random Tuesday Thoughts

We have once again arrived at Tuesday – how are the weeks flying by so fast?! Oh, before I forget, this is a cool tidbit you should know:

I haven’t looked ahead to next week’s forecast (because really, why? It changes so often!) but I sure hope that we’ll have some clear skies next Monday night to check this out. I hope that if any of you have clear skies and witness this, that you’ll share some pics in case I can’t!

So last week my tree looked like this:

Guess what?! It still looks like that! I still have yet to add a single ornament to the tree. Not sure if it’s my mojo that’s missing, or the fact that work has me so stinkin’ busy that I just haven’t found (or made) the time. Hopefully this weekend…hopefully. fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, yesterday I found the perfect image of Carrie Underwood that inspired me to utilize it to make it look like she’s standing in my living room:

I still need to go through the stacks’o’boxes I have now stacked everywhere, what with all the flurry of online Christmas shopping I’ve been doing, to figure out what I forgot, and/or start getting things wrapped and ready. I’m behind on that part of things as well, people! But hey, I work well under pressure, so between you, me, and the four walls, I’ll get that done before… well, let’s hope I get it done before Christmas Eve. 😉

Honestly, though, I feel blessed that in spite of covid wreaking havoc everywhere, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been working steadily throughout (it does pay to be virtually employed – though the fact that everyone in my household has been home All. The. Time. has sort of wreaked havoc with my daily schedule – and quite possibly my sanity…)
