Once again I’m late writing this post – funny how having a short week last week computes to Monday being super long, eh? Ah well – makes the time go by fast! Wait, I wanted to find that ‘pause’ button, didn’t I? Maybe I should rethink that…

At any rate, I hope your Thanksgiving was great – ours was low-key, I did indeed make my Champagne Turkey at my mom’s house, and of course it turned out fab! The kids helped decorate my mom’s Christmas tree – now I need to find the time to get my decorations up! I usually do that over the weekend, but this weekend I ended up getting sidelined by a major sinus infection. It’s been a few years since I’ve had one, so I suppose I was due – but man, timing is everything!

Because of my sinus infection, I didn’t get to go see my sister over the weekend – don’t need her compromised immune system to take a hit! But my niece stopped by there on her way back from her Thanksgiving weekend adventure, and reported that she’s improved so much over the last week! She is much more bright eyed and can hold a conversation pretty good now.

She can also move her right foot while in bed, and she’s feeding herself now, and is no longer on ‘mush’ food. Woot! Now to hear back from a nursing facility about getting her moved into one – we’re hoping it’ll be this week, and we’re hoping she’ll be up for getting together to celebrate our birthdays together. Fingers crossed.

Let’s move on to the funnies, shall we? With parts of the Northeast getting lots of snow this weekend, this 1930 “School bus” complete with snow skids and wood stove for those long trips to and from school in Northern Maine seems appropriate:

This is hysterical, and the perfect representation of November to December:

I’m sure many (if not all) of you have seen that meme with the white cat that’s been all over the internet – I thought this was hilarious:

This is perfect:

This cracked me up:

Proper planning…

This cracked me up (see what I did there?):

At first I thought the vehicle on the top part of the picture was some homemade job, but nope, it’s the new Tesla Cybertruck:

This is so true:

This one does make you wonder:

And I’m just going to leave this right here for you:

That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the , everyone is welcome.
