Is it just me, or is this year flying by ultra-fast? It’s already the middle of October! Which means that Christmas is – dare I say it? 70 days away! Sheesh!

And, not to make everyone feel old or anything (including me), Princess Nagger’s birthday is one month from today – she’ll be 17-freakin’ years old!! No no no… I’m not ready for her to be that old. What I wouldn’t give to go back to these days:

Princess Nagger 4 Months Old
Elvis in the forefront, T-Man in the background with Princess Nagger – both dogs have since crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

Or, I’d even settle to just go back to these days:

Le sigh. Those days are long gone – and I suppose one of these days I’ll have to go in depth in a separate blog post that the Princess Nagger no longer wishes to be referred to as “Princess” anything – because she has decided that she identifies as a boy, and wants to be called Aleksander. Double le sigh. More on that in the future, I’m not ready to talk about it yet.

This past weekend was a full moon – did you get to see it from your neck of the woods? Apparently it was called the Hunter Moon – my friend (and amazing photographer) Tim Durkan got this awesome shot in Seattle Sunday night:

It’s funny how the tiny bit of clouds makes it look like the moon has Groucho Marx eyebrows. Tim’s girlfriend said it looks like a toupée. I agree with both observations!

Let’s move on to funnies, shall we? This cracked me up:

This is funny:

This would be the best reason to be late anywhere. Well, maybe:

I love this:

I’d have the same reaction to a spider:

Though I wouldn’t go this far:

And I’m just going to leave this right here for you:

  1. Great funnies, especially about being late for work. For that excuse to work, i’d have to take a video.

A survival story about a woman and her trained army of cats would be at once funny and terrifying, i’ve seen the damage cats can do.

If i’m ever in your area and you see a spider, i’ll take it outside for you, i like the arachnid family (yes, i’m weird, but they know me in my world).

Wishing many happy returns of the day to your eldest child!
