Technology Might be a Generational Thing – but not the Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

It’s that time of year that the days start blurring together – the hubby decided to start his early, as in mid-week last week, using some of the plethora of time off he has stored up to not be bored for the final week of the term. The network is still a crime scene as they try to figure out where, in the thousands of network equipment, the ransomware was initiated from.

They’ve been slowly building the network back up, but it’s still far from done, and the limitations have been driving him crazy. Not to mention winding down the term, he only teaches an hour or two of class a few days a week – and since the students can’t access the network for their assignments and whatnot, it’s been frustrating for all. Especially since he drives 74 miles one-way to get there to do nothing. Might as well call it a day and hope, when the fall term starts at the end of September, things are better for both the professors and the students.

Amazing how, in this era, we’ve all become so dependent on that , no? Hard to go back to ‘old school’ ways once you’ve been spoiled by the convenience of said .

I saw this the other day, and it totally cracked me up (people from my generation and before my generation will get this):

Speaking of my generation:

Or this:

This is hilarious – if I ever get a carton of milk dated like this, I would totally save the jug after the milk is gone just for :

This is punny:

This is clever:

I need this for my bathroom:

This is hilarious:

Apparently there was some confusion on this last week:

It’s one of those ‘GOTCHA!!’ jokes – the image is simply an image that looks like a video… when you click on it, nothing happens, because if you fall for it, you’re the monkey that was tricked! Sorry Alana! 🤣

This cracked me up:

And I’m just going to leave this right here for you:

That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the , everyone is welcome.

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. The dollars for the stripper and “be the change” are so funny, well, all of them are. There probably are some people who would rather have gin than go to the gym.

Hope you and your family have a great time while your husband has time off, and that his school gets everything sorted quickly.

  2. Barbara Walters 2020 is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while! And… yes, I fell for the monkey thing (twice). I can’t believe hubby drives 74 miles one way to work! I personally couldn’t do that.
