Tomorrow’s the first day of spring, people! We’re enjoying warmer-than-normal spring weather already, so that’s cool. Well, OK, it’s warm. 70+ degrees yesterday, the same for today and tomorrow, then a chance of rain moves in and cools things down to the 50’s, but I’m cool with that, too.

I do love the sunny yet cool days more so than hot days, so moving back to the Pacific Northwest was always the plan when our detour to Pennsylvania lasted more than the ‘couple years’ we’d anticipated, that grew into 16 years. I know, right?! We’ve been back in the Pacific Northwest for just over 5 years already – time sure flies, doesn’t it??

But look at the beauty:

Isn’t that gorgeous? That’s a Seattle sunset my friend Tim Durkan captured on March 10th. Being able to gaze upon the mountains in the distance every day is awesome. I didn’t realize how much I’d missed them (or had taken them for granted growing up here) while living in PA.

Plus, we’ve now been in this house for 2 years:

And of course we can’t beat the view of our tiny town:

OK, I obviously have to take a new pic of our tiny town without the snow – I think the spring/summer pics I took last year are still being held hostage on the auxiliary drive I’ve mentioned that decided to completely stop working, holding on to 10 years of pictures and work that I’m hoping someday I’ll be able to actually retrieve. I am an eternal optimist, after all.

Well, I do have this one I posted on Instagram almost exactly one year ago (March 17, 2018):

OK, I couldn’t resist – I had to take a new pic because it was gorgeous and sunny yesterday, and the moon was highly visible in the bright blue sky:

Love the view from our house, that’s for sure – and I’m looking forward to getting my craft room and winemaking room all set up and functional. One of these days I’ll actually get the rest of the boxes unpacked. I know, I know, it’s been 2 years!

They should have been unpacked long ago. I can be a procrastinator when it’s something I don’t look forward to doing. Who looks forward to unpacking boxes, hmmmm? And if you’re one of those, c’mon over and help a girl out, wouldya?

OK, let’s stop procrastinating and get on to the funnies, shall we? This is funny, one of my favorite memes that popped up after both Facebook and Instagram were dead in the water last Thursday:

Speaking of Facebook… The World Wide Web turned 30 on March 12. This is the moment in 2004 that Facebook first went online from @Harvard when the web was just 15-yrs-old:

This cracked me up:

No words for this:

I thought this was clever:

This is hilarious:

These are hilarious for my fellow absent-minded peeps:

OK, you have to admit, this is pretty funny:

I am so going to do this one of these days:

And I’m just going to leave this right here for you:

That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the , everyone is welcome.

My friend MessyMimi participates in Happy Tuesday each week, so I thought I’d join in the fun, too! Well, OK, I keep meaning to get over there and play, but then I forget. What was I doing again??

  1. Gorgeous pictures of your town! And the funnies were hilarious! Love the blonde joke! But my favorite was Jenny’s numbers and Beverly Hills. I bet there are a lot of people who won’t get it! Youngsters, anyway. Haha!

  2. Your town is beautiful, it’s the kind of place i want to visit and maybe someday live. Mountains every day would be nice.

The map is great, i don’t think i can ever forget Kentucky and Tennessee again.

Weird stuff under the couch cushions is why i pick them up to look.

Hope you have a fabulous Tuesday!

  3. You have a pretty home. I actually pulled the 867-5309 prank on an officer just a couple months ago when she asked for a phone number for tree removal. Took her a bit to realize what I’d done!
