Just Some Random Funnies in a Random Tuesday Thoughts Kind of Way

I’m sorry to report there are no costume pictures to share – we ended up not going trick-or-treating, because both Little Dude and Princess Nagger ended up sounding like they were trying to cough up their lungs, and the weather was cold and rainy, so walking around with them sick wasn’t a very wise idea. I’m saving our costumes for next year, though – we’ll still be able to use them.

Except Little Dude – he’ll have to have a different one, because the one I got him fits him this year, no doubt he’ll outgrow it by next year. He also said that next year he wants to go as a Ghostbuster, so we’ll see if that’ll still be the case by then. At least I have time to make/create/pull together something for him – well, as long as he doesn’t change his mind between now and then.

Little Dude’s teacher sent this picture of him from school on Halloween:

Even not feeling good, he still has swagger! He just celebrated his 11th this past Friday – time is flying by! Princess Nagger’s is coming up next week – I’m still boggled that she’ll be 16. SIXTEEN, people!! Where has the time gone?! I’m still looking for that pause button to no avail.

Now it’s time to move on to some funnies! Speaking of Halloween, this costume is genius:

I thought this was clever:

I’m hoping the kids don’t share their colds with us, because this is pretty much how it would go:

I thought this was hilarious:

I thought this was punny:

This cracked me up:

This is hilarious:

As is this:

This is , too (and for the record, I do love me some eggnog – especially if there’s spiced rum in it, or Kahlua, or  Baileys, or simply a delicious Eggnog Latté):

This cracked me up:

I love this:

And finally, I’m going to leave this right here for you:

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. Sorry to hear that the coughing prevented the kids from taking part in The Great Neighborhood Candy Exchange. Your Little Dude isn’t so little any more, he’s very handsome.

Great funnies, and heaven forbid that dad gets the cold.
