4th of July is looming, so let’s have some Funnies Fun: Random Tuesday Thoughts

July is here, people! And from the looks of it, is really wreaking havoc with all over with excessive heat. Except here – though now that I’ve said that, I’ve probably just invoked Murphy’s Law and the heat will come…heh!!

My donor board arrived over the weekend, now I just need to muster up the courage to melt the solder on the teeny tiny ROM chips on both boards to swap them out and hope that the donor board will work its magic and allow me to access all the data on that crippled drive. I’ll keep you posted.

So tomorrow is the – I still wish those that are they would turn it into a 2-day holiday affair, since tomorrow night will no doubt be a very late night, and having the alarm rudely awaken us at 4:15 am is going to be unappreciated. The hubby did mention he has some days he needs take off before a certain date – one of those ‘use them or lose them’ moratoriums, so he might take Thursday and Friday off simply because he can – so that would make for nice ‘no alarm’ days for sure. Here’s hoping!

No surprise – someone’s shooting off right now (it’s been a constant occurrence since the state allowed the sale of as of noon on June 28th) and the dogs are barking, so let’s get right to the funnies, shall we?

Speaking of the 4th of July…

I thought this was punny:

This is also punny:

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. That girl and her “eyebrows”! Who knew punctuation could double for face adornment. Not really a place I’d go, but hey, to each their own?

    Happy 4th of July!

  2. Oh yes – phone booths (remember when) phones with receivers and dial tones (remember when) – enjoyed the hit of nostalgia. I admire anyone who can solder. Hope it turned out well.
