Oops! I did it again! I lost track of time, and here it is, time for me to be heading off to dreamland, but I didn’t want y’all to be left hanging without any random for Tuesday! And of course since I’m foggy brained and punchy from being sick, as soon as I thought the words “Oops I did it again”, I had to find Brittany’s song for you to have stuck in your head like it’s now stuck in mine:

I couldn’t resist. Well, I could, but chose not to…heh!

So, we’re now 6 days from Christmas! SIX DAYS, PEOPLE! I haven’t even finished decorating yet – between the rainy weather delaying the transfer of all my Christmas decor boxes to the house followed by helping my mom move into her beautiful new digs, followed by this annoying sinus infection that won’t give me a moment’s peace, I’m way behind this year.

Princess Nagger and I did, however, finally get the tree decorated over the weekend, so that’s progress for sure! I need to take a picture of it to share, especially since we did indeed incorporate the dinosaur skeleton with the tree. I know you’d enjoy seeing that. Maybe I’ll have to do a Wordless Wednesday for the first time in eons and share that then, eh? Talk me into it!

Princess Nagger offered to help me wrap presents, but said I’d have to ‘teach’ her how to wrap presents – I love wrapping presents, and I’m certainly happy to teach her of course. As long as her offer isn’t a veiled attempt at getting to have a peek at her presents. That’s not gonna happen.

I’ve been in such a fog that I totally forgot to put together the gift baskets I had mapped out in my head for Little Dude’s teachers. I called the school earlier today to see if the teachers were going to be there after the school is dismissed today at noon for the winter break, or tomorrow like his old school was, but the difference in living in a tiny town is that the teachers will all be getting out of there by 12:15. Or basically as soon as the last student has left the building.

I love that they actually get to have a full break like the kids do. The office secretary said they’d probably appreciate the baskets even more as a ‘welcome back’ after the break, so that’s what I’m going to do. Better late than never!

I could go on and on in a rambling random sort of way, but since I need to get some sleep to shake this darn sinus infection, we’ll enjoy some funnies I ran across this past week. Doctor Who fans will appreciate this:

A Reindeer was caught on camera ‘practicing’ for Christmas Eve:

I couldn’t help giggle like a 12 year old boy when I saw this:

That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the fun, everyone is welcome, random or not. And that means even if you don’t have a specific Random Tuesday Thoughts Rebel post posted, you can still link up, I’m not picky. You don’t even have to add the badge, just link up so I can come harass you on your blog. I promise to play nice.

  1. Stacy,

All is forgiven. This time of year is rather hectic plus you’ve been under the weather, so no worries. I hope you’re feeling some better, though. I can’t believe how the month is evaporating on us. I have a friend I met many years ago on the inky trail (pen palling) from Finland. We still keep in touch. Anyhow, I remember the first time she told me about seeing a herd of reindeer which sorta blew me away because I didn’t think about her location being prime for said wildlife. lol I thought that was the coolest thing ever, too. I guess ordinary deer feel a bit left out this time of year. Thanks for the giggles. I hope you and your family have the merriest Christmas ever and may God bless you in the coming New Year, my friend! XOXO

  2. Heeheehee! Those funnies are grand, especially Santa wantinging to bring Dr. Who a gift. What do you bring a Time Lord?

Anyway, i hope you shake the sinus infection in time to enjoy your Christmas thoroughly!

  3. Love you post 🙂 So much fun reading it!! Love the pics as well!! “Frosty gets caught picking his nose!!” Haha… Thank you!
