Surf’s Up! Part Two: Random Tuesday Thoughts Rebel

All good things must come to an end. When this post goes live, Princess Nagger and I will be up in the air, winging our way back to Seattle.

I know, I know – we’ve had a fabulous week, but now it’s time to bid adieu to summer and get back to reality and with today (Tuesday) being the first day of school, naturally there’s a lot more feet dragging coming from the Princess Nagger.

Especially when having to leave these awesome digs:

I’m hoping I have a chance to edit this draft before the end of the week of fun to share some great anecdotes of our vacation time here in the islands, but just in case that doesn’t happen, you might have to wait to hear all the deets next week.

I know, I can be such a tease sometimes.

Seriously, though – I’ll be back to surfing the interwebs today vs. surfing the warm inviting waters of Hawaii after slowing down to a slow pace and rolling the kids out of the car at their respective schools. This year is a little less convenient since they aren’t at the same school, what with Little Dude being 5 grades behind The Nag.

They also start at different times – Princess Nagger starts almost an hour before Little Dude does, which means her dismissal time is almost an hour earlier, too. We’ll get the drop-off and pick-up fiasco figured out in no time – well, at least by the time school lets out again for next  ummer, right?

Meanwhile, talk amongst yourselves for a bit, and I’ll catch you later today to see how much fun you had while I was gone last week. No pressure or anything…heh!
