When we were Basement Dwellers occupying my parents’ basement while looking for a house, a tiny little stray kitty appeared in their backyard.
Naturally we couldn’t leave the poor thing out in the cold, and adopted the scraggly little thing, who went through a few name changes (including ‘Shatner’) before his final name of #Squeak. Yep, you even pronounce the ‘Hashtag’ portion of his name.
While he and Blackspot were hanging out together, they liked to climb over the stuff my mom had stacked along the walls of the solitary bedroom in the basement – she had a dog bed on top of a high shelf, but they managed to climb up and knock it down to the floor, immediately taking over its comfort:
Stray kitty doggy bed domination leads to world domination…Stay tuned.

haha he’s tiny but mighty! 😛
At one time we had a big black lab pit mix (we think, he was a stray) he was a big teddy bear to us and sometimes very fierce with others. Turns out he was afraid of cats and our little black one took total advantage. She took over his dog bed. He would stand there and look at her then look at me all pitiful then back at the cat and then back at me. It was sad.
lol, waiting for you to publish its next part soon 🙂
Ha!! #Squeak is no fool!
Aw, that’s a real cutie! Sweet shots – thanks for sharing! 🙂
Cats think everything belongs to them. lol Good pix!
Such a sweet cat! I love that hashtag is part of it’s name. How funny!
LOL I love it!
awwww, she’s so cute!
and that does look like a comfy bed, so one can hardly blame her for getting ready for a cat nap.
I love cats, they are so fun and opinionated–it’s all theirs, we just get to use it sometimes.
So cute!!! I haven’t seen a single stray around here lately but then again we’ve got bears and fox and a few other kitty eaters close by.
That kitty is adorable and reminds me of one we lost 2 years ago 🙁
These “comics” are great! I wouldn’t want to get in the way of those claws!
