Three Cheers for Spring!

Oh look!  Signs of actual :

CherryTrees

I was quite happy to see that the three trees in the back corner of our new backyard have turned out to be , as evidenced by the beginnings of the familiar pink .

I’ll be curious to see what kind of cherries they turn out to be – cherry pie and cherry wine will definitely be on the future plan.

Has spring started to spring forth in your neck of the woods?

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. We have three cherry trees. Why does ours grow in columns like cypress trees? Well, I hope you get plenty of cherries. All of ours will probably be eaten by the tanagers and grosbeaks. They come in just for the feast and then they leave.

  2. Let’s see, we are poised to set a record low in the high temperature department for today, so spring? Maybe tomorrow, as that is how wonky the weather has been! Beautiful trees!

  3. Hey Girlfriend you never answered me last week when I asked you about your WW button. I put it on my blog & it just a blank square. HELP Love Love Love your backyard! ahhhhhhh Spring!!! We still have snow on the ground (well patches of it). 🙁 Enjoy & thanks for sharing.

  4. Hi there Stacy, topping by and linked up today. In getting ready for next week I have grabbed your banner to add to my next WW post. I follow you on Twitter, Pinterest, G+ and now on BL. Enjoy your evening, Karren

  5. Since we have two inches of snow on the ground right now, I’d say the answer to your question is, sadly, “No.”

I’m so sick of winter, I can’t even begin to express it.
