Pets are an extension of the family – we always refer to the cats and dogs as Princess Nagger and Little Dude’s siblings – though I think Little Dude is still a little confused by that concept, since he keeps referring to Travis and Rolex as his ‘little humans’.  Speaking of Travis and Rolex, they love to get dirty out in the wild blue yonder:

When we lived in Pennsylvania and it snowed, they absolutely loved playing out in the cold, wet white stuff:

Even our former dog, Elvis, loved to be a snow bunny right along with Princess Nagger:

Accidents happen.  Between the dogs’ muddy paws, the cats’ random hairballs, or the kids’ spillage, we were lucky in our old house we didn’t have carpeting, because cleaning the almost 200 year old wood floors was an easy thing to do.  But our new house has a mix of carpeting and hardwood floors – Princess Nagger is especially excited about having carpeting in her new bedroom.

We’re not sure how old the carpets are, so we’re thinking once we get moved in, we might want to replace them just to be on the safe side.  Plus I want to get STAINMASTER PetProtect carpet to make sure my life is easier when cleaning up any kid or pet messes.  Because you know those ‘messes’ are bound to happen.

STAINMASTER PetProtect resists difficult pet stains and allows thorough cleanings.  It also reduces pet odor when cleaned and easily releases pet hair.  That’s extra important since Travis and Rolex tend to leave hair all over the place during the height of their shedding season.  We always joke that with the amount of hair they shed, we could make a new dog or two.

In Laboratory testing, more pet hair was removed when vacuuming STAINMASTER PetProtect carpet versus a majority of other carpets.  Plus the STAINMASTER cushion barrier helps keep moisture and spills from soaking into the cushion and subfloor.

Why that’s important is because it allows for thorough cleaning and odor removal without being stuck in the cushion and damaging or staining the subfloor.  Not only is this great for pets, but also if you have kids like me that are klutzes like me and tend to spill too!

The STAINMASTER PetProtect also carries the best Pet limited warranty by the STAINMASTER brand.  It also has built in fade and stain resistance to ensure your carpet remains looking beautiful for many years.  It’s always a bummer when brand new carpet looks ancient just a few years down the road.

If you have a pet (or messy kids and spouse like I do) stop by and learn more about STAINMASTER PetProtect carpet and how to #UnShameYourPet!

Feel free to stalk STAINMASTER® on Facebook and Twitter.

Do you have pets?  Which mess do you find the most difficult to clean off your carpets?

I used carpets but really they are very difficult to wash as my dog’s hair holds strongly.

Seems like STAINMASTER PetProtect carpet is a must have!! I’ve been having nightmare of cleaning my pets urine from carpet last couple of times and it’s annoying sometime. I think I’m going to adapt such carpet pretty soon. Thanks for explaining benefits of having STAINMASTER PetProtect very nicely.

I have rabbits, and I can tell you rabbit pee is persistent as a stain and as a “scent”. It just won’t go away. If STAINMASTER pet protect can ged rid of those stains, it surely is THE BEST carpet stain remover. I’ll let you know.

This is definitely a must have for pet lovers out there. Wish I’d known this sooner. But hey, it’s never too late right?
