The One Where Princess Nagger is Growing Way too Fast, but She’ll Always Be My Baby.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – sometimes time just flies by way too fast.  How did Princess Nagger go from this:

PN2004

To this:

PN10

I know, I know – I blinked.  Anyone know how not  to do that?

As we were waiting for the bus the other day, she was wandering around with her Kindle, playing (and singing along to) music videos.  It struck me that my baby is growing up fast.  Too fast.

Just when I think all hope is lost and my baby is on the fast-track for eye rolls (which she already has down to perfection) and all that comes with the tween angst that will only increase in the upcoming teen years, she has a relapse reminiscent of this:

2003-PN-July14

with this:

PN9

Busted!  At least it wasn’t reminiscent of this:

2003-PN-Feb23

She’s going to kill me when she finds out I posted it.  The future blackmail will be so worth it, though.  I’m just sayin’.

I’m still trying to get back on track in spite of sporadic internet connection and limited computer time.  I appreciate you all continuing to bear with me and am forever grateful for the visits and comments in spite of my lack of visiting.  Once all the dust settles and we’re finally in a new home, I’ll make it up to you, I promise.

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. Oh dear, hope your daughter doesn’t read your blog. Too funny and yes they grow up way too quickly. My youngest born 10 week’s premmie weighing 1.6 kilos is now at 12 almost the tallest in the family and definitely has the most attitude of my three girls.

  2. She is so cute suckling on her thumb, even though she’s a bit grown now 🙂 My daughter does the same and I love it, she is and always be my little baby 🙂

  3. that’s your job as a mom to have blackmail pictures 🙂

They grow SOOO fast… I feel like I sit & watch blog friends grow & it just blows my mind.

  4. Your Princess is turning into a beautiful young lady. I can’t remember where all the years have passed with my children. My eldest in now married, and has a baby on the way making me a grandmother for the first time.

  5. Oh, PN is looking so grown up! I remember her as the little girl who loved dinosaurs. 🙂 My girls are growing fast, too…my oldest is in 3rd grade already! Time sure flies by.
