MaytagDisclosure

It seems like forever ago I made the announcement of being honored to be chosen as a Maytag Kitchen Mom. Then the months flew by and my new kitchen became a reality, followed by praise for the cool new refrigerator and cool new stove, and even a fun trip to see how Maytag does their testing firsthand.

Then I even got to brag about the Maytag® Jetclean® Plus Dishwasher with Fully Integrated Controls and the Over-the-Range Microwave with EvenAir™ Convection I am such a lucky, lucky girl.

Oh how I miss my awesome Maytag appliances!!  No, I didn’t lose them, I still have them – except they’re stuck in the storage unit while we wait for the house we made an offer on out here to close so we can finally get spoiled again with the awesomeness of Maytag.

I have no idea if all my boxes made it, I was so focused on watching the movers empty the truck into the storage unit:

I was relieved as I saw each of my Maytag appliances get unloaded from the truck (not pictured yet) and stored safely away until we’re able to move them into our next house.

I have a feeling that when my parents see my stellar Maytag appliances in our house, they’re going to want to upgrade theirs – my mom sure needs to get herself a new stove, I mean look at the beast in her kitchen right now:

It was in the house when they bought it – 22 years ago.  I think it’s time for an upgrade, don’t you?  Especially when she sees how awesome my stove is:

And don’t get me started on how much I’m missing my over-the-range microwave right now, especially since my mom is still utilizing the very first microwave (or at least an exact replica) from when I was in high school:

I got so used to the cool features of my microwave (and Princess Nagger misses her kid settings, especially for cooking hotdogs):

The appliance I most miss right now is my cool fridge:

Especially the snack drawer feature I love so much:

With how hectic the mornings are getting not one, but now two kids ready for school, that snack drawer could have been a life saver more often than not for how quick and easy it is to grab fixings for lunches and after school snacks.  Once we get into our new house and I’m all set up with my awesome Maytag appliances again, I’m going to be such a happy camper.

I will definitely post an update when that happens – especially since the house we’ve made an offer on has a wonderful gourmet kitchen that is desperately in need of my Maytag appliances.  I’m just sayin’.

Maytag continues to innovate through new technological advances that carry the same dependability generations have come to expect from Maytag. Did you ever have a Maytag kitchen appliance in your house growing up, or do you now?

  1. I now have a Maytag Washer and dryer (gifted for helping friends move into their new house) and they work so well! I am amazed at how much laundry I can get done in a day now.

    1. That is something I don’t have – yet!! One of the reasons I talked the hubby into leaving our not-very-old washer and dryer behind with the house (you know, so it’ll be a perk for whomever is buying it) but mostly so I have an excuse to switch over to Maytag for those as well. That is so cool your friends gifted you the Maytag washer and dryer! You are a lucky girl, too! 😀

    1. I absolutely LOVE my Maytag appliances Danielle, so if your daughter and her new husband are looking for appliances, they cannot go wrong with Maytag. When I got to visit and see the ‘behind the scenes’, I was even more impressed with them overall. I had to be selective on what stuff I’d be moving 3000 miles and what I had to leave behind when we moved – I opted to keep my Maytag stuff first and foremost. 🙂 My washer and dryer weren’t Maytag, so we left those behind for the next owners of our house – that gives me an excuse to talk the hubby into getting Maytag this time…heh!!

    1. If I were able to have a gas stove, I’d opt for that even over the coil burners, Mary – and Maytag has an awesome gas version of this stove too (no ceramic top! LOL!) My mom had a ceramic top growing up, so I’ve actually really enjoyed having one myself, since I learned at a very early age how to use them ‘properly’ – though I do miss the fast cool down of a gas stove and/or coil burners – that is one thing I’m not a fan of with the ceramic tops. But I do love how easy they are to keep clean! 😉
