Can you believe how fast summer is flying by?  Hard to imagine that school is only a month away!  Luckily the schools out West start a little later than they do out here (but shhhh! Don’t tell Princess Nagger that means they let out a little later, too.)  Because we’re getting ready for our big move across the country just before school starts, I’ve been trying to be organized about the whole ‘’ melee.

As I’m scrambling to make sure both kids have the right and new for their new adventure out West, I’m happy to announce that I’m honored to be a Boys & Girls Club () Back to School !

I’ve often wondered who takes care of school supplies for those that aren’t as fortunate as we are.  One of our ‘back to school shopping’ stops will be – they always have great deals to help save money.  Not only that, but every month Cares supports a new partner to help those in need.

Throughout the (you still have time), jcpenney customers can round up their store or jcp.com purchases to the nearest whole dollar and donate the difference to support Boys & Girls Clubs.

Funds raised at checkout will go toward supporting BGCA’s More Members More Often initiative.  The initiative focuses on attracting more young people to join the Club, motivating existing members to increase their participation and retaining youth as members over longer periods of time.

100% of raised will go to BGCA – the loose change you’ll spend when you ’round up’ won’t make a difference in your day, but it can sure make a difference at the Boys & Girls Club.  Consider your donation an investment in a child’s future.

The race is on for Back to School shopping, so make sure you check out jcpenney and “round up” to make a difference.  I don’t know about you, but it’s so much easier for me to keep my expenditures straight when I’m tracking them by whole numbers.

Every little bit helps – the offer programs for education, character, leadership, life skills, arts, sports, fitness and more.  These programs are often the door between a child in trouble and a child on the path to a bright future.  You can make a difference.

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.
