Last week you got to see the fresh out of their hatched , so this week I thought I would delight you with their ‘one week later’ progress. They went from this:

They were a little nervous at first, but seemed to calm down as I kept snapping away until all but one finally nodded off to sleep:

It must have been his turn to be the lookout.  They look lots cuter as than little , don’t they?

  1. Jealous! The ones we had died during the alien stage. Too many people peeking on them perhaps? I don’t know! I told my nieces not to touch!

  2. What kind of birds are these? They look like they have some yellow or tan in their feathers. Isn’t it amazing how they grow? We’ve watched bald eagle cams and they look so different as young ‘uns. Have a fab day!

  3. They sure are getting bigger. I think even human babies look much better after a weeks time. They loose the pointed head, skin color is better to.

  4. Stacy, how are you this week? I posted something a little crazy this week…Electic Blue trees…something else. Thanks for the party.

  5. HOLY BIRD GROWTH!!!! That is FAST!!! Ready to sprout wings & fly soon…
Hey – someone needs this analogy for all the graduations coming around!

  6. How awesome that you captured them in the various stages…Yes, they do look a lot better with fur…;-) Happy Wednesday!

  7. That is amazing growth in just one week! We have a nest in our backyard with a momma Robin guarding it bravely. She doesn’t fly away when we enter the backyard. Can’t wait till her babies hatch! Thanks for the wonderful pics!
