I had high hopes that I’d be sharing amazing snow pictures with you today, but since Nemo decided to bypass us completely, I’m empty handed.  But I’m sure you’re tired of hearing me lament about the lack of snow here, particularly those of you who got inundated and are probably pretty sick of the white stuff about now.  So instead, I thought I’d share Princess Nagger’s imaginative mind.

She loves making hot chocolate with the Keurig – if anything else, because it’s super easy for her to do, so she can have hot chocolate whenever the craving hits.  The craving hit this past weekend, and after she returned to the living room she came in the kitchen excitedly telling me I needed to come in to the living room and bring my camera.

PN:  “Mama, come quick and bring your camera – you have got to see this!”

Me:  “OK, sure, hold on a minute….”

PN:  “I don’t think I have a minute, you better hurry!”

When I came into the room, camera in hand, she excitedly pointed at her cup of hot chocolate.

PN:  “Look!  Can you see it?  Take a picture!  You have to blog about this!”

I looked at the cup and didn’t quite see anything, but I snapped a few shots anyway:

ChocolateDragon

PN:  “Do you see it, do you see it?  I was just blowing on it to cool it off, and I made a dragon! Can you see it?”

Me:  “That is really cool – I can see it!”

Can you see the dragon in the hot chocolate?

Now can you see it?

  1. I saw it two ways. One was the dragon and the other was a dinosaur. Seems PN has the eye of an artist.

  2. That’s great!!! I love how you outlined it to show us!

My 7 year old did that with a waffle. It wasn’t a dragon of course. That would be crazy if it happened to be. I’d say they would be made for each other. He ate it into the shape of Nebraska. Then wanted me to take a picture.
