I’ve been pretty good this year for the most part. Sure I’ve been lacking severely in the housekeeping department, but I felt that blogging took priority over keeping the house sparkling. Besides, when you stop by on Christmas Eve, you’ll note that it has a ‘homey’ feel if you squint really hard. Or keep your eyes closed. Either way works.

First up on my list is a maid. He or she’d have to be able to clean with his/her eyes closed, though, because if he/she stepped foot in my house at this moment, he/she’d probably run away screaming in fear. At least that what I did yesterday.

While you’re at it, maybe you can invent a washer and dryer that complete all the laundry automatically from start to finish – including folding and putting away in drawers and closets. That would eliminate the piles of clean clothes that haven’t been put away yet, and maybe the maid wouldn’t be scared off so quickly.

I love a good latte, and Starbucks recently came out with the awesome Verisimo that would enable me to have a great latte right at home. I would love to get the burgundy one; you know my penchant for that particular color, though I noticed they are no longer available on the Starbuck’s site. Maybe you can have one of your elves paint one for me:

Or, if that’s reaching a little far, since I do understand you probably have to keep within a certain budget, I did see that Mr. Coffee has come out with their own version – which is a little easier on the budget and I understand from my new friend Melissa that it makes great lattes. So I’d be OK with getting this one even though isn’t red:

Now this next thing is way cool but also probably an extreme reach on the wish list. You know how I enjoy an occasional glass of wine, but end up using any left overs in cooking (which in and of itself is a great way to utilize my wine, but it would be nice to keep it fresh and actually drink it). This is where this awesome Wine chiller and preserver would come in handy:

Oh, and I hate to mention it, but my phone has been driving me crazy – after the last firmware update I keep having the reboot it by popping the battery out and hoping it turns on in a timely manner. I could sure use an upgrade and am eligible for one right now, but can’t decide between the new Samsung S III:

or the iPhone 5:

So should you think being on the nice list enough times this year would warrant an upgrade, I’ll leave the final selection up to you. Though I’m leaning towards the Samsung because of the color, and the fact that I already have one so I know how to work it.

We’ll be sure to leave you extra cookies on Christmas Eve since you work very hard and deserve a break and a treat. We’re mixing up some yummy Reindeer Food for the Reindeer – will Rudolph need some nose polish to keep his nose shiny and bright?

Love,

  2. Oooo, those latte makers look excellent! I wish I’d put that on my list! I have to cast my vote for the iPhone – I LOVE my iPhone. I hope that Santa brings you all the things you want! You have definitely been on the Nice list!

    You are linked!

  3. You have a great list. The maid would be top of mine too, although I would probably be better at cleaning if I had one because I would be tidying up before she came so she didn’t see the mess and then she would have nothing to do. Maybe I should just have someone really critical come over once a week to look around my house 🙂

I love my iPhone so that would be my choice.

  6. I totally want a maid too! I have the same problem with clean laundry. It sits in the basket(s) all nicely folded for way too long. As a treat for myself I would love to go to a nice salon and get my hair cut, it’s been way too long since my last one.

  7. I think I have been good also. I will take the maid and the latte maker. Then I can sip my latte while she does all my housework. Lol!

  8. I love the act of doing laundry. I love to hang it on the line. And I pretty much like folding it. But I despise with every ounce of my being actually putting it away. That’s what I’d like a maid for.
