One week ago today was Princess Nagger’s First Day of School. Seems like just yesterday she was starting Kindergarten:
First Grade 2009
Second Grade 2010
Third Grade 2011
And now, she’s in Fourth Grade:
Time is flying by way too fast. I didn’t have time to completely dry her hair before we had to go out and wait for the bus, but luckily her hair doesn’t look all wild and crazy like mine does when I let it air dry. Lucky girl.
So far she’s been excited to go to school each day, because she was assigned a teacher that she exalts as the ‘nicest teacher in the whole school’. Much better start than the last two years, so that’s a good thing.
Has school started in your area yet, or do the kids get lucky and start the day after Labor Day like it did when I was in school?
P.S. For those that were looking forward to reading about her Fox Ears fiasco I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’m posting that on Friday since it got a little too wordy even for Wordful Wednesday.

School started this week – fortunately Son is in college, and he takes late afternoon classes. We had been planning on taking an out-of-town vacation, but had to cancel those plans when he got his schedule. Which was a good thing, since our plans were to go to Louisiana for the week!
