Once upon a time I had a regular Sunday night routine that included cooking myself a nice dinner followed by a long soak in a hot bubble bath complete with candles, a book, and a glass of wine. It was my way of mentally preparing myself for the long work week ahead, wrapping up what usually was a very busy weekend.
Enter the addition of a hubby and kids, and suddenly my quiet, relaxing Sunday evenings were but a faint memory. Le sigh.
I’m lucky if I get an uninterrupted shower before someone’s outside the door with “Mama? You in there? You done yet?” usually at the most inopportune time like when I’ve just gotten my hair lathered up. Gone are the days of an hour soak in a bubble bath, or a long leisurely shower. Which means gone are the days when I have a chance to pamper my skin. And it’s starting to show, darn it.

What really caught my eye (besides the word ‘mimosa’) was the “visible skin improvement in just one week”. You know what I love most about Dove? They speak the truth.
After just a few days I noticed an improvement on my poor, tired, neglected skin, and even more so after a week. What I really love is that it saves me time, because after using this I don’t have to slather lotion on my legs like I did before.
It smells wonderful – I’m really picky about how my body wash smells, because if it’s too flowery or too pungent, I can’t use it because excessive smells like that stick with me all day and give me a headache. This one is not headache-inducing at all.
In fact, Princess Nagger took a whiff and begged me to let her use during one of her bath times – she fell in love with it, too. I had to hide it so she wouldn’t use it all up before I had a chance to put it through its paces. You can bet it’s on my next shopping list to make sure we have more when we run out.
