The Sound Of A Million Dreams is As It Seems… the Dark Side. But I Wanna Talk About Me as I Said I Would!

It appears we have once again returned to the blazing summer heat before summertime has officially arrived.  Still not a fan of Mother Nature this year.  But at least since it’s Monday, and the theme for Monday’s Music Moves Me is a freebie week, we can chill out with some fun tunes.

Let’s start off with an artist I love, and a song that gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.  The video is especially cool since it starts off with him as a 6 year old.  Here’s David Nail with “The Sound Of A Million Dreams”:

Next up is a song that caught my attention at the end of the Criminal Minds Season Finale (I’m sure going to miss Paget Brewster as Emily Prentiss next season) so of course I had to hunt it down.  Ruthlessly.  I finally found a few video versions, but no ‘official’ video, then I stumbled across this one a fan did with clips from the show itself.  Here’s Lily Kershaw with “As It Seems”:

Next up is a new(ish) song from my girl, Kelly Clarkson.  Yes, I voted for her when she was on American Idol.  Here she is with one of her newer songs, “Dark Side”:

Next up is a song I’ve always loved because it cracks me up (and it’s catchy – you’ll find yourself singing along), here’s Toby Keith with “I Wanna Talk About Me”:

Last but not least, one of my ‘guilty pleasure’ shows is Jane By Design.  I heard this song on a recent episode and of course had to find it.  Here’s a new group (to me) One, Two with “Said I Would”:

What music are you listening to this week? Enjoy your Monday!

Now on to the particulars of Monday’s Music Move’s Me:

I have the supreme honor and privilege of being a co-host with the inimitable Xmas Dolly and her cohorts in crime, Lorie of The Shewbridges of Celebration, Florida, Callie from JAmericanSpice, and our newest permanent fixture to the hostessing team, welcome Cathy from Cathy Kennedy’s Blog. Also for the month of June, we have the honor of having our friend Naila from Just The Stuff You Know generously helping out with our hostessing duties.

Want to join in the fun? It’s easy – just find a tune that rocks your boat, post it and link up – don’t forget to grab Xmas Dolly…er, um, I mean her button…over at her place here. Check out Xmas Dolly’s sidebar for the random themes we sport each week – and you can always ask for a specific theme of music you like, too. Check out the other music lovahs and let’s jam!
