I’m not a big snacker, but when I do opt to have snacks, I try to keep them in healthy-mode.  Mostly.  Some days you just have to give in to those cravings, right?

At least I can be confident when I have the craving for something crunchy, I can count on Old London’s yummy Melba Toast or Bagel Crunch to satisfy that craving and not feel terribly guilty about it.  Even Princess Nagger loves their crunchy goodness, so that makes me happy she’s happy about snacking on something good vs. junky.

I was given the opportunity to sample several Old London products, including their delicious Melba Toast (one of my favorites) and Bagel Chips:

The hubby and Little Dude were huge fans of the Garlic & Herb Bagel Chips, both Princess Nagger and I agreed it was a toss-up between the Sea Salt Melba Snacks and the Rosemary & Olive Oil Melba Toast.  Both were equally delicious in their own way.  I had to hide the boxes so no one (including me) would end up eating the entire box in one sitting.  It could happen.  They’re that good.

Before we head out on our road trip vacation, I’ll be picking up some more of these for the road – they have definitely been added to my important list.  Especially since they’re Princess Nagger and Little Dude approved.

Right now (until June 30th) Old London is hosting an amazing sweepstakes that you need to enter… or not, because then it gives me a slightly better chance at winning.

Old London wants to us to celebrate life as the Greeks do, by maintaining a healthy diet of grains, veggies, fish, olive oil and, of course, dancing.  The term OPA is used to express happiness and cheer, so I am excited to announce:

Old London OPA! To A Better You Sweepstakes

One winner will receive an amazing 8-Day, 7-Night Grand Prize Package, which includes:

  •  Airfare (coach) from your nearest airport
  • Seven nights in first class accomodations in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini
  • $2,000 Gift Card For Spending Money

Doesn’t that sound like an amazing trip?  I’ve always wanted to go to Greece -especially since it’s one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world.  The earliest evidence of Greek wine has been dated to 6,500 years ago where wine was produced on a household or communal basis.  I would absolutely be in seventh heaven if I were to go on a trip like that.

In addition to hosting this awesome giveaway, Old London is further celebrating a healthy lifestyle by pairing with celebrity dancer Chelsie Hightower and a team of nutritionists to help all of us incorporate the Greek lifestyle into our own lives with healthy, delicious recipes and tips. You can find many great recipes on the Old London website or on their Facebook page.

What’s your favorite healthy snack?

.P.S.: Don’t forget to go enter the sweepstakes.

  1. I don’t know if it’s a safe idea to go right now in Greece and I say this regarding its political and economical situation. Anyway, there are plenty of historical monuments to see there 🙂
